Drone Freeport, Texas

Aerial drone flying over Freeport, Texas shows this pretty little downtown area with a beautiful waterway and marina :)

I love to drive throughout the world whether on the right or left with either left-hand steering or right-hand steering and of course I have become accustomed to using a stick-shift with both hands :) I truly enjoy the great food and discussions with locals where I have been blessed to travel. Included on this channel are some driving and snorkeling videos and even a couple bike rides I recorded.
You can also see my beginning drone videos looking at 2016 dates when I filmed in safe nature areas. I practiced how to crash safely, how to fly with three propellers and how to ground the drone and drive to it. I practiced in snow, rain and extreme cold to make sure I understood the drones limitations before I went to the big cities. I handle a drone like I do a gun and I truly hope others do the same.

This is a far cry from when I was stationed there in 1975 and left in 1978. I remember that down town area full of cars and people along with the Freeport fishing fleet lining the banks. It seems like there was always a hustle and bustle around there.

The population with the money has moved out to Lake Jackson, Angleton, Manvel and Pearland. There isn't any new developments as far as housing nor infrastructure in Freeport. Even Kroger's has left.

Im from Freeport Texas, graduated in 1974 from Brazosport Senior High School, the town was vibrant back then with great sports teams, this is my 50 year high school reunion, the name is Ernest Brown.

Thank you every much. We hope to grow with the help of other towns and use citizens of Freeport. The chief of police retired last month it doesn't feel the same without him.

Hi Wendy, Great to be on the road again😎 Don’t think there is a nuclear plant in Freeport; however, I do know of multiple Dow. I film after everyone goes home. Orlando tomorrow and heading to Maine on the coast and crossing the Appalachia’s several times to get fall colors over the next week or so.

I am not familiar with that exact area. I have been on all sides and never there. I will be traveling back through part of Ohio after I finish the northeast; however, I am not sure when or if I will get close enough to meet. I will let you know😎

Freeport will not grow or develop unless you can convince the people with the money to stay in town. This issue is happening in other coastal plant, industrial communities. Look at LaPorte, Texas City, LaMarque, Port Arthur, Port Lavaca, and Palacios. All of these are great communities, but the only people that stay there are the poor and working class. The wealthy and middle class don't even live there.
