You may have to put one of big 4wd tractors on the grain cart. Thanks for the video!

Winter looks so cool in a picture, but what a mess it is in real life. Great video 👍.

Very clean cows, shows how well they are taken care of. 👍 Great drone footage, except when the snowflakes were hitting the lens, lol. Still hauling manure, doesn't matter the weather, just switch what your hauling and what spreader your using. True farm work demonstrated with that.

Yeah the snow kinda talking the fun out of everything

One good thing is that corn looks really good far as how it's standing. And looks to be kinda rolling ground so it should drain well and dry out faster than bottom ground. I'd just plow the road and don't be afraid to gouge and bring up stone or dirt. Cell company can afford to stone it later lol. I'd just get a small load of clean stone , 1b or 2b, and set your chains tight and tailgate it on the hilly parts. Just a skim works great. Do it every winter when we're logging.

Every farmer should have a drone to check land, awesome idea

I'm new to your channel but you've got a full-time job there bud. Lived on the grain farm in Iowa for about 5 years. But with dairy it makes it a real job. Had a couple 4-H calves and that's about it.

You need the snow to melt, then the temperature to get down in the 20s to harden the ground up.

Andy if you plowed the road and sanded it heviely. Maybe that would work.

Great farm land. Without the drone views we have no idea what you are up against. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. So what's a drone view worth.? Whole lot more lol. Thanks for sharing .

Great video andy. Looks like the lake effect has started. Maybe you guys don't spread manure that's been field dumped in that vertical spreader? Cab glass and rocks don't play well together, we have a h&s vertical spreader and gad to fab up a bigger screen on the front to help with rocks we've already broke 2 windows. Except for that those spreaders do a great job and put out a nice consistent spread pattern and really break up the bed pack.

That drone footage was so cool! I kept an eye out for deer LOL. No doubt this winter-like weather is making things difficult, wet snow is super slippery and if it melts you've got major mud to deal with. Wondering if it were to freeze hard if that would be better for harvesting that last bit of corn? All the best Andy, cheers!

chains are such a pain in the arse to deal with, but they work. and with so many tractors it would cost a fortune to put Hakkapeliittas (Nokian snow tires for tractors) on them i can imagine :D that is a lot of fields with corn. considered a slightly bigger combine hehe?

Do you get a lot of deer in the corn fields? I know the hunters don't like it if there is a lot of standing corn where they hunt!
@JoshuaSmith-xw6jp5 жыл бұрын
Your fields are like ours. Not a square or straight one. Point rows in every one and usually hilly and surrounded by trees. We're steeper hills and smaller fields but your winter's are worse and you have all them field stones.

Where will you store this corn? Assume it will be used in feed rations? How about a 4 wheel drive road tractor?

Great video Andy... I don't know how you do it with all that snow and ground??? According to a "farmer" 😂😂😂😂 I mean a wannabe farmer across the river 🤔🤔🤔 from Wes... You should be shut down and doing nothing but talking about this and that and lie after lie flying out of your mouth.... A REAL FARMER does what you do... keep the awesome videos coming and showing what real farmer's DO !!!👍👍👍
