BTW charging is now possible being at air near to charging pad.. No need to land..

Yeah and very well thought out. you can land anywhere on the surface, easy for any modern RTH system. and the system will then power the appropriate tiles AFTER the landing.

XCEL energy here in Colorado was just approved to uses the drone beyond line of sight over 5 mi first utility in country to be approved to do this.

LOL im from denmark, was my first question when I talked to him, turns out they are a unit specifically for heavy rains, its using larger surfaces to activate and cavities insulating between them somehow. seems like it could be problematic, however he is quite confident that they can operate in heavy rains even (probably more than the drones can) I know the m210 have a IP rating, but the XT camera and the 30zoom camera don't

Neat so you land your drone for several hours while it charges at the recommended C rate or you cook your battery. LOL I will pass. Just like an electric car, stop every few hundred miles for an hour or so to fill your tank. The ideas that fools slurp up!

LOL I hear you on that, however the use-scenario is put on of these on the roof of a facility, and do a daily scan of the area. or similar. however its not relevant for using many charge points and reach further.
