🐝 This method of Varroa mite control works by trapping varroa mites under the capping of drone cells
🐝 Varroa mites are attracted to drone cells because they have up to double the reproduction rate due to the 24-day life cycle of drones versus the 21-day life cycle of workers.
🐝 It is essential to remove the drone comb between 10 to 24 days. Early removal will result in no mites trapped. Late removal will result in excessive reproduction of mites.
