@Drone Mesh Hi. When you read STM32F722RET6 , what does RET6 stand for? I don't think it is "Revision 6". What is it? I tryed to google this question, but no answer found.

I buttoned up the quad but realized I didn't enable the UART for my DJI unit. I would have had to pull the top plate off, which is the worst for mine, because I couldn't see the TX and RX pad but thankfully you mentioned UART4, thanks!

Hi D-mesh, my forward f722 lasted 5 minutes?? RC said low rissi/ rissi lost etc . My quad was only 1 meter away from me! Then nothing? I was using a crossfire transmitter and thought I’d have no problems! Very disappointed! Got home and checked it, wouldn’t power up to beta flight? Through the USB port? Not even with battery connected? So unhappy to say the least! Got the combo! 🥺🥺🥴👌

Awesome video! Exactly how new products should be reviewed. Great detail. I was just looking for a new stack for a couple 5" builds I have going on right now. I'm still new to this, so this FC sounds perfect. I almost pulled the trigger on the mamba F405 set up yesturday. Think I might try 1 of these to see how it hold up and if the quality and reliability is there. 👍

You never mentioned the LED pad sitting next to the 5V pad. I got LEDs for this board and betaflight wont recognize the LEDs unless the signal wire is on the LED pad?

That was a great review. Using the pen to highlight things was genius. I love the hglrc stacks cuz they have big solder pads. Conformal coating is a plus. A new for them.

I just received my Mamba F722 in the mail yesterday, I may need to look at this one. Barometer too... I just stayed away from HGLRC due to so many people having burnouts within a few flights. Great detailed video...👍🏻🍻👊🏻

I think every company has lemons. Ordered a few stacks from HGLRC they worked fine. They provide great customer service too in my experience.

Great vid! I just got this stack (Zeus F760) and am going to use it with the Air unit. I would like to add the flywoo BT to it if possible but it needs it's own UART. As I'm using the air unit which is on UART4 according to the manual, and no 5.8 VTX does this mean that UART3 is freed up to be able to use it for the BT module?

This is going to be a dumb question, but if you have a traditional setup, where do the signal wires from ESC go? I see the S1-S4 on the bottom, but that seems to be only available for the DJI setup. I see the S5-S8 pads on top which I can easily solder to and remap resources in the CLI, however i'm not sure if that's the advised way of wiring this up. Any help is appreciated! :)

Yes, you are correct, they are on ESC connector. Since I don't like to use connectors, I'm wondering if I can remapp S5, S6, S7, S8 pads. Can I?

You dont need to remap unless it's more convenient in some way for you. There are physical pads broken off from the connector onto the board already.

I've noticed this flight controller and the Foxeer F722 V2 have the same APU. Which of the two would you say is better?

The only difference is this one has the barometer where as the F722 has the TVS diodes and the 3.3V regulator. I can always add a barometer separately so I guess I have answered my own question.

all flight controllers have the same MCU. There are about 4 in total f722 f405 f411 and f745

Yes just route the wires correctly 1 goes to 1, 2 goes to 2 and so on until 4. Vcc from esc will go to the bat pad and and gnd to gnd that should get you going.

@@robertilkanic5452 yes I got this FC myself and running 4 ECS's. You just need to remap some of the pins. Check Oscar Liang's BETAFLIGHT RESOURCE REMAPPING tutorial, it explains it pretty well

If you're going to start showing the wiring on screen, I highly recommend getting one of those pads that you can write with a special pen. I'm forgetting the name of them... Personally I preferred the other way. If you'd find a way to keep the camera more in focus when showing an FC during the presentation it would be perfect! Anyways, great video as always. Thanks!
