I think the weight really helps it take those higher winds and stay flying
@DroneSyndrome2 жыл бұрын
Yes, also the long propellers and motor power play an important factor in wind resistance performance.

This is the bugs 16 rebrand right? BTW, have you ever thought of being a DJ on a smooth jazz station? 😂
@DroneSyndrome2 жыл бұрын
Yes, this is the “American” version of the MJX Bugs 16 Pro. This company has their HQ in the USA so all of their drones are shipped and distributed directly by them. They also ship worldwide as well but they are based in the US. And to answers you second question... No, I haven’t though of DJ’ing for any smooth jazz radio stations. I should consider now that you mentioned it. 😄👍🏻

This isn’t a rebrand. It may share the same chassis as the bugs 16, but all the internals are customized from manufacturer for EXO drones. The CEO did a interview which talked about how it works and why there are not any real clones. Very interesting!
@aerialzona60032 жыл бұрын
@@cowboy10731 LOL, OK, you're allowed to believe that if you want to. I guarantee if you take both apart they are identical inside. The owner, Charlie, was nothing more than a con man. He ran a large marketing campaign on Facebook selling rebranded drones at a large mark up to people that didn't know anything about them. He got the companies value up, made a nice chunk of money and then sold off to Openstore and bailed. Exo is literally nothing more than a drop shipping marketing company.

Thank you Gary. Not sure what you mean by “do drone parts incase” are you referring to repairs? If so, that’s a yes.

This is a very insightful review! I especially appreciate seeing the app and what telemetry is available on the mobile device as well as what is on the controller itself. I am working my way through other videos before I reach out to this manufacturer and secure a drone to review myself. I'm constantly asked what drone to purchase for a beginner who has an eye toward moving beyond hobbyist...this might be that drone. ~ Eugene
@DroneSyndrome2 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for your comment. In my opinion, this drone is perfect for recreational flyers. For those who want to move up beyond the hobby grade, I’d recommend checking out the newest drones made by EXO like the BlackHawk2 Pro. That one has a more powerful camera and app features that are up a level from this one. It is a bit pricey though. Thanks again for watching! 👍🏻

Nice video. I got this without controller and without bag. No prop except four that is mounted. Question, do you know what protocol it use? Because I have the Radio Master tx16s mk2 radio. And the internel is Elrs. But external i have 4-1 module. So 4 rf chip that support up to 80 protocol. My question is. What protocol does it use? Ty

Can you buy upgraded controllers for your drone, say if I don't like the feek and how small the screen is, but like the drone itself , can I upgrade the controller to a bigger screen ect without having to buy a whole other drone kit that already has a bigger screen on the controller ?

It’s an American rebrand of the Bugs 16 Pro. This company is US based so the shipping and customer support is all based in the states, cutting a lot of the shipping costs down from China. Their CS and repair service is all done in the states as far as I’m aware which is great for US based customers.

I will say this, I switch from my Mavic 2 to the Blackhawk 2 and it was the worse decision I have ever made. It rarely connects, it somehow says it has a weak gps signal despite being out in the open and connected to 15 satellites. Then when it FINALLY connects, I record videos and take pictures, I come home to look at what I did and literally nothing is there. I have NEVER had this issue with my DJI and it pisses me off that I spent this amount of money on a drone they claimed to be great. I have had it little under 2 years and I have only been able to fly it successfully, 5 times. And I doubt I can return it at this point. DO NOT BUY THIS DRONE.

How tf can they call it a “Cine” drone and have props in the shot the entire time. There is nothing cinematic about props in the shot. That’s why DJI will always own these other companies. They don’t pay attention to the little details. I’d rather have a mini 2…at least I won’t have props in my shot
@DroneSyndrome Жыл бұрын
I agree with you on that. The term “Cine” should be reserved for the drones that are made for real professional aerial cinematography

Do you have to have that ffa drone license??
@DroneSyndrome2 жыл бұрын
If you own acres of private property, I’d say no. But unfortunately if you don’t, you need to register your drone and take the Trust test to obtain the Trust certificate which is super simple and easy to take. Another thing that has just been implemented is the annoying remote ID requirement going forward on Sept 2023, which means you have to outfit your drone with an RID module if it doesn’t have it pre-installed in your drone already.
