Finally someone shining som light on this. I made a video on this technique a few months ago as well on my channel, few people watched it, but not much, it's got like less than 400 views, so.. But hopefully with you being a bigger KZbinr you might be able to attract a bigger audience and make the people of CTR community utilize this technique, because for me personally, I use it pretty much on every track, outside of like Crash Cove.

just a side note to those that don't know.. The hangtime boost gives 1 perfect worth of reserves, no matter how much you fill the hang time gauge. My friend Arky taught me this tech when i was time trialing Hyper Spaceway.

I always wondered the name for this tech. Another good track to utilise it is spyro circuit right before the wizards, also Android alley shortcut, some places on prehistoric playground you can use it too just off the top of my head. There’s probably plenty more.

I use this in Korala carnival right after the bowl section it's how i keep reserves for the grass(iron plate) cut part right around the first turbo plate

i did the tech in my old barin ruins wrs back in late june long before dss ever showcased the tech, I guess back then I never knew every detail behind the tech I thought it was a track exclusive thing because I never felt the need to do the tech anywhere else. my older runs i tried doing it on every ramp possible because i thought it was a faster thing to pull this off but in reality i was just able to get extra reserves and save frames elsewhere. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGrKmmN_lLepmsk Regardless, this is better explained than anything else out there, and deserves more spotlight because it's still unknown to the playerbase
