Copper will vape out with water at 1000c . Says wiki witch basically is shit... But Alum , what wasn't oxide or vaped off .... But I wonder if you used small enough aluminum pieces and a glass crucible and let's say you saturated with tin also at the time copper was in sol and it's all black and won't drop pm easily ,,, would you begin to get brass ? It's made about the same temp or is that how you make it ... ?? I'll let ya kno lol .. if anybody ask, shrug shoulders and say " mushroom cloud??? Tf you talking bout."

Only waste solution containing nitric acid won’t work with aluminium you have to switch with iron , it will drop everything

instead of wasting good quality aluminium ,you can use aluminium foil , infact the foil works even better and faster

this is based on the reactivity of the metals correct? So in theory you could if you had a solution saturated with platinum you could do this with pured gold bars and the gold would push out the platinum. then you could work you way down by like silver bars to push out gold.... so with that said you should be able to drop baking soda or lye to drop out aluminum is this correct? Then you would have a bio safe solution

It is normal to drop noble metal vith zink, aluminijum or potasium but vith gold to drop platinum i newer try that. Probably can be done, but i dont have a wish to try that. And yes, it is reactivity metal stuf. You yust give me nice idea to make video mate ;)

Man Mountain Link think you would need a metal higher up on the reactivity scale and use magnesium or sodium to precipitate metallic aluminum.

You are right, much better to do it with Iron, but if you need the copper out fast aluminum will for sure do it!

Aluminum chloride is used in very many brands of under arm deodorant, as Aluminium chlorohydrate. I think they possibly neutralise it with sodium hydroxide So it might be good not to waste it.

You can use nitric acid as a deodorant, but it really hurts.

I still ceep solution and once i vill return that aluminijum just to see how its look, i think i vill try vith electrolize first. Nitric for dezodorans,try that, smel nice but your finger makes yelov and skind go of after two days :D

Also pushes out tin, lead, Cobalt, and even iron. There are a lot of metal that are replaced by aluminum. I think you could put lye in the cement solution and render the aluminum as hydroxide also with other metals left in the solution.

That doesn’t make sense based on the temps needed to melt both metals. Copper has a high melting point, steel is higher than both. Unless you have high steel contamination
