I love Elevator, I’ve bought so much gear here. Everyone is cool, knowledgable and easy to talk to. It’s also one of very few music shops you can go in to and not feel intimidated, or made to feel dumb for asking questions or wanting to try things out. I’ve ordered multiple modular pieces and had them delivered to both Spain and Singapore with zero issues and really really quickly. I can’t recommend this place highly enough👌

Great video. Big Up elevator Sound. I'm doing my best to "Just say no" to Eurocrack but Ben's enthusiasm and knowledge is infectious. I've bought a few bits of gear from Elevator Sound this year and each time, I've been bowled over by Ben's patience and diligence in getting me up to speed with my desired purchases. Really great service from Hamish, Ben and the rest of the team.

I think I enjoyed watching this all-too-short interview in a Bristol synth shop as much as when I first watched the I Dream Of Wires film! Thanks for getting all those close-ups, Nick. What a great idea for a video series that not only gives a much-needed platform to these small independents, but a fascinating documentation of an exciting and often hidden part of the music world. Can't wait for the next one - you could go on and on all around Europe!

My 'local'/go to music shop! It's great to put a face to Ben. Im just over the bridge and only been in once (to get my Disting) but most of my modular that was bought new was from ES online. Brilliant that its not just a shop and they do events. Hoping Bristronica will go ahead at some point - been a troubled process.

I called this store to buy a module one day and they asked if I was an existing customer as I was asking advice, they did ask if I was buying something I said yes maybe, they went on to say we only have advice for existing customers as we are really busy, I went elsewhere that day and bought the module I wanted with great advice from rubadub, maybe they can learn from this and not treat people that way in the future, I see modules I like they have in stock but always put off by that initial experience ;)

What a buzzing little community it is! I ordered my Soma Cosmos through Elevator Sound and they were very good and supportive when I phoned them to check the order status. I had no idea that so much was going on in the building! These kinds of local business hub are the lifeblood of city culture, and it made me quite nostalgic to watch this, since I lived in Bristol in the 1970s/80s and went to school there - I remember the Punk days very well, and seeing posters everywhere for bands like The Clash and Altered Images. I'm now wondering whether Beep Boop might repair my SH101 for me. I think I'll get in touch!
