Recollection of the footage shown in trailers in comparison to the original mainly to appreciate in its fully glory. I didn't include any heavy story moments to compare similarities and differences as I just wanted to highlight locations, environments and characters meetings (and some key events in general). Also, I felt to include the monsters you fight when they showcase combat to see their evolution too, but probably didn't look as good as they are getting pummeled during the footage lmao; I feel Cosmo Canyon Observatory does a way better job for that.

When you start checking all those small moments from the footage you realize how really close it is to the original. Even if they ended up ruining key moments of the story, a lot of love is put into it overall

Even if I don't go crazy over any new story and mystery bit. The more I see the more it's surprisingly close to relive the events and locations of the game in a modern way, and that's what I was always looking forward to, one have to admit that. Many cool stuff to look forward to ♥

Wow, great editing job! Impressive how SE recreated all this so faithfully in the visuals that everyone is able to immediately know: that X/ this location, etc. Whatever happens this game had a LOT of care put into it, the naysayers can always rage, it's still a great journey SE embarked everybody on

Nice job on this comparison! I really wish SE would give us this content in 4k because the compression at 1080p is so bad. But I guess when playing the game we can experience it in all its glory

That is true, there was some shifts around to make the flashback have a Boss fight being the one in the original that you fight later instead
