I was blessed to be in the audience for the 🍀 SPD concert where Bruce 🎸 popped out from backstage to join them for a few songs. This year it was Billy Bragg, but it's hard to top The Boss. Also, Pennywise 🤡🤘 as the opening band, and an Irish band called Kneecap who went first. They couldn't book The Shins, but it'd've been amazing to see that anatomical-themed lineup.

Pretty cool love the Dropkick Murphys from the beginning and I have the biggest of respect for Springsteen too. Especially after the album We Shall Ovecome (Seeger Sessions) GREAT ALBUM for sure and also for the song "Highway Patrolman" the version with Johnny Cash is soooo beautiful.. Many other countries don't understand why people get tattoos. Even in America, I had a lady tell me it's a shame I marked my body like that. I watched a KZbin video about the culture of Japan, and though they are use to seeing foreigners wearing tattoos, it's still pretty taboo (because of the Yakuza). I wish they could all hear this song and understand that most of us get them from deep meanings, or memories we hold dear.

Sure, it explains why he's singing with DKM and it's awesome that artists came together to do this but his vocals sounded pretty bad in this song.

Despite the fact that Fropkick sound like a old-school Flogging Molly rip-off now (regardless of the fact that they have been around longer), this is a great song. I love Irish-folk-punk and this fits the bill perfectly. Perhaps FM have given up on their sound and Dropkick have found it. Sorry, I am a drunk old punk and in this Jameson haze I feel this way.
