Dear Dropkick Murphys, first of all thank you for your music🙏🏻 Thank you for realizing this project with Woody's lyrics. It is amazing and so inspiring. Last year I met Woody's grandson, while he was touring, in my hometown and we talked about the W.G. Archive. As an archivist it was very interesting for me to hear about that. Whatever, maybe you'll read that and could see how much power and joy and a lot more you give to me with what you're doing. Stay cool, strong and healthy☘️ May the road rise up to meet you...looking forward to see you next february in Berlin😊

The Shipping Up To Boston story had me crying. The Irish connection through time. The song and the lyrics together have always been so amazing. I listen to it every chance I get. It gives me so much life and energy. I listen to it, and I feel like anything is possible.

An amazing collaboration! As a long-time Woody Guthrie fan, and a more recent Dropkick Murphy's fan, this pairing feeds my soul. And as noted, the lyrics are still so relevant.

When i was 13, i discovered punk. My dad introduced me to it. I found the "irish drinking" music, and fell in love because Dropkick made me feel the way punk sounds.

I enjoyed hearing about how the band had access to the WG's actual notebooks, manuscripts & etc. I worked in construction back in the mid 90s. One of the projects I took lead on was helping to button up the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. I would be onsight early in the morning. About 2 hours prior to the rest of the crew. During this time, I had a chance to talk to some of the people in charge of various exhibits. There were people in charge of receiving a lot of interesting items, like notebooks, handwritten notes & all that. I was given the opportunity to actually touch items donated by people representing Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, John Lennon, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix...... As mentioned in the documentary, these items were managed in very specific ways, which kind of made me think about how hospitals manage operating rooms and those who use them. Very cool.

This is so amazing to me. I'm a metalhead born in the 80s, I've always loved punk, ska, and other genres that were anti fascist and energetically violent. I took that shit to heart and it made me a kinder and more empathetic man. I dint want my daughter's to lose their righta, I'm here to scream with you, fuck facsists.

On the one hand (if you remember from Suicide Kings) alcoholism can cause a vitamin K deficiency, causing excessive bleeding, but on the other hand, being a saturated alcoholic would make avulsions seem like less of a big deal.

Anything against capitalism or putting any country or people before our own.
@williamsmith62532 ай бұрын
@vetterka officially: "a theory or system of social organization in which all property is owned by the community and each person contributes and receives according to their ability and needs" In real, they're killed political dissidents, they took everything from ppl,religious persecution, forced labour in concentration camps etc. If you want to hear more,come to Eastern Europe(Poland,Hungary, Serbia etc) and ask those who lived in communism.
