Dropped my bike almost 30 times in 1 ride. This was 22 of them.

Due to an asthmatic episode and no inhaler I had the hardest and most challenging ride I've ever had. Truly it was the most difficult physical challenge I have ever experienced in my life. Climbing up in elevation and not being able to breathe properly caused me to battle severe fatigue early on consequently I struggled mightily to control and ride my bike. This is a montage of all the drops I had until my gopro battery died. Once we hit the snow the drops continued sometimes every 30 feet. In the end it was still an amazing ride with very gracious and helpful riding partners.

Glad you got back safe! I had an asthma attack, and I'd be lying if this didn't feel 100% familiar!!

This might be my favorite EVER! From the first drop when it sounded like you quacked to the last where you just rolled over and gave up.😂😂😂

yeah.. it was a noise made from fright. Aghhh!!! It was steep right there of to my left and I did NOT want to drop my bike down it. I also knew it would not be easy to drag it up, as well as a waste of valuable energy. And so it began :). glad you enjoyed it.

Wow brother glad you managed to get out, asthma is no joke. Love the f bombs. The 2 fellas I took out on our milder technical single track in Calabogie went home totally bagged and they only dropped the bikes a few times.

Thanks man. It was dicey but I put my mind in what I call Navy Seal mode. After watching those guys do hell week on a tv show I realize there is another level of effort we can get to. I was close to that. I was fortunate to come away with only 4-5 small bruises and no pain, except for some overall soreness. It was an amazing ride and I'm glad for the experience. Will make me a better rider for sure.

@@mofekka I have giant contusion and hematoma on my leg/hip from a failed attempt on a “he’s friggin nuts said my buddy” hill climb yesterday. Busted my skin open from the impact “inside my gear” falling on a big triangular hunk of bedrock, but I went back up and cleaned the entire right after. We are all nuts lol 😜👍‼️
