Dropping 3d-printed fursuit head bases from 4 meters height on a tiled concrete floor -

Some people think that a 3d-printed fursuit head base is too easily damaged. I've printed and used 3d-printed fursuit heads for years - so far not even one broke. Yes, PLA head bases can crack when being dropped - but I've dropped several and so far all survived.
If you want to make them extra durable - use filaments like Polypropylene, Nylon. or TPU.

I've mixed results with PETG prints - some prints were OK (the prints will not deform from heat exposure as easy as PLA, everything else was near indistinguishable from PLA prints), but some PETG prints had massive layer adhesion problems (they would split apart from a fall like this). I've stopped using PETG (if a fursuit gets hot enough to deform PLA the fur will be destroyed too).
