NoGo for GoPro, The favorite pastime of my GoPro is turning itself off. It looooooves to turn off. Since day one the camera staying on for 10min is a rare miracle. It got so bad it says low battery after a few seconds of recording when any fully charged battery is used (which it even shows as full...). I bought new batteries and even the Volta thinking it was the batteries going bad. It is not. I pay for GoPro subscription (which is BS) just so I can get RMA, but that still cost over $100 to replace the camera. The postage label they provided takes over a week to get it to them, some of the slowest shipping I have ever seen. Now I'm just waiting weeks to get a replacement (for an issue that I don't feel is my fault in the first place). In my experience, saying the GoPro is unreliable is such an understatement. Then their support is a straight up scam. I feel like I just can't give GoPro enough money to actually have a working camera. I was saying right before seeing this that I love the sponsorships GoPro does, but I still wish they would put that money into making a more reliable product and improving customer support. Heck, just spend it on better RMA shipping even... I accepted after first using it that I would only get like half of the shots I thought I did, because of course the GoPro found some reason to turn itself off half the time. With that said, when it is recording, it provides a good baseline video quality in a lot of different situations. Without it, I might not have recorded any of my training and accomplishments. So I kind of love/hate GoPro. It's fun to me to record my training. I like that better than counting reps in a notebook. It's just when I know the camera is going to constantly let me down sometimes I don't even bother taking it with me, then I always wish I had it the most when I don't have it. Sigh, I give GoPro all my money and I still am sitting here without a working camera. GoPro, you can keep sponsoring Night Scape, but probably drop a few sponsorships and invest it into improving your products and service.
