@@crashur3600 it’s not an exploit nor a glitch. The way online games work means that information from other players can’t be processed exactly when it’s needed, so you have to make certain allowances. Splatoon’s (and most other online games for that matter) favour what happened on the attacker’s end rather than the defender’s end in order to create fluid feeling responses to successful attacks., but it can occasionally lead to situations where it appears like the defender, on the defender’s side, should’ve lived, even though on the attacker’s side, the brella shield never even came up. It’s a simple unavoidable reality of playing games online and can’t be stopped, only mitigated through faster internet speeds or different netcode that favours defenders. (but that will cause situations where it appears like you hit a shot, while on the defenders side you missed/were blocked, so it takes what happened to the defender. I’m sure you can imagine that would feel even worse.) So not a glitch or an exploit or something that really be fixed. Hope you learned something new today!

Why is custom explo THIS good, im absolutely popping off with it, using the wall to take risky positions, abusing cover, using its massive paint output to trap and control enemies then popping the splashdown with a wall cover to reduce risk of being splatted for it, then finishing them off with the indirect assuming they took 60 damage from the splash, its... actually good! The kit isnt a backline or a slayer, its some weird middle of the road bunkering weapon, assist in every fight from afar, use cover, use wall, use your paint output to control enemies then smartly use splashdown to assist in picks or from cover and finish them off with the 35. Its unironically working so well.
