Just a nail bent to a right angle. Then hooked a string to the nail and whatever object. Then shook the drone to dislodge the string from the nail.

Use a longer string. Like 12ft. That should greatly reduce the swaying caused by the prop wash. I think it would be a more accurate. Let us know.👍👍

Just be careful not to chop the eyes with the blades or the top of your head clean off. Wear Goggle's and a helmet when loading gear on to the aerocraft brother!!!

iirc, there are air dropping mechanisms for phantom 3/4s. The drone seen here is a phantom 3 standard

Awesome, glad you enjoyed!! I had to make the dropper myself. All it was is a nail bend to a 90 degree angle attached to the drone. Then I tied a loop to each item and gave the drone a shake whenever I wanted it to fall

The only reason why he didn't go to 500 ft is because you can't legally go above 400 ft

yeah but... technically if your drone is hovering at 400, and you drop anything of any weight, as soon as you let go the drone will automatically rise. Because the extra power needed for the weight is no longer needed. Yes you are breaking the law as per FCC regulations. And yes nobody really cares. 😁

Just a nail bent to a 90 degree angle rigged onto my drone. Tie a string to what ever you’re dropping and loop it to the nail. Then just wobbled my drone till it falls
