I have to say, I’ve literally on Wednesday this week 26th June 2024. Launched my brand which I’ve built with drop shipping. And today 28th of June 2024 I received my first sale of £72, all from a brand I’ve built, completely self taught. It’s been 4 months of 30h+ a week of working on the brand whilst also working full time, in a 50h a week job, very much supported by my wonderful wife. So anyone watching or reading, or Davie yourself! This has been the start of something all because I watched your ‘shopify tutorial for beginners 2024’ this has been thanks to your amazing video, I watched 4 months ago, from an idea I had a year prior, which evolved into what I hope to be a very profitable dropshipping brand.

It's ironic because most successful e-commerce businesses started off with the dropshipping model. You have GymShark and Kylie Jenner Cosmetics for example that started from the ground up and eventually became a brand. Now they're worth billions!

Good video Davie. Thanks for providing this value for the dropshippers trying to convert to actual brands. I was recently speaking to a brand owner and I asked: "How much money should I spend on ads before moving onto my new brand idea?" He suggested that if a product or brand is successful in other markets, you should be able to make it work as well. It would be incredibly helpful if you could make a video that explores how much to spend on ads for testing and delves deeper into advanced marketing strategies. For example, if you should start with just static ads for proof of concept and later on get UGC. And when to kill ads etc. Insights on how to validate and start a brand as lean as possible with a high focus on the front end and initial marketing effort would be fantastic.

Dropshipping is never going to be dead because people will always have the need to buy something. The biggest issue is to get good winner products, but thankfully there is now so many tools which can make your job a lot easier (My favorite one to use is a bit of winnerzila). I have been using that service for three months now, and I am getting like 80 sales per day. I am considering to now go for their lifetime plan which seems like a great value.

Davie just one quiestion. Do you still think its possible to make money Dropshipping(of course like you said with the idea to later turn it into a brand, improve on the product, etc). But do you think its possible to be first order profitable with ads(if ur good at DR marketing). and make like 10-20k/m profit just from purely ds before transitioning? Cause thats what i want to do, but ive been trying for the past 1.5 years and ive barely seen any success(10k rev), and idk if im wasting my time and capital and should just go into the agency model to build cashflow instead and then go back to ecom

I have seen a lot of KZbinrs advocating the concept of "Branded Drop-shipping". With my 16 over years of experience managing supply chain in China and South East Asia, I still couldn't figure out how a supplier could put your brand and packaging whenever a drop-shipper send them an order. MOQ and risk of stock holding on the part of the seller prevail if the seller wants his own brand. Can anyone explains and clarifies how "Branded Drop-Shipping" actually works or is it pure BS? Thank you!

Can you please tell me what your experience was with the payment gateways on Shopify or is your store a higher tier and the gateway built in? Because I went through all the steps and have been "stopped at the gate" (excuse the pun) because I had to add gateways and they told me I had to have supplier agreements as well as not accepting my shipping policy if I couldn't deliver in 3-5 days. What do I do to get around this?
