If only other concerts were half this good. Nyman at his best; played by a fantastic and innovative orchestra with so much joy. One of those 'I wish I'd been there' performances and I love the girl on the sax at 2.45. The whole concert is on youtube together with their other New Year concerts. They are very imaginative, extremely eclectic and a bit weird but well worth a look.

dat is het grappige....de muziek is erg vrolijk. Het is de soundtrack die Michael Nyman schreef voor de film Drowning by numbers van Peter Greenaway. De film is bepaald niet vrolijk maar dramatisch. Hoe dan ook de muziek blijft prachtig.
