I have come across an issue with the modpack which I will address in a few episodes time. Unfortunately, Rimedieval seems to block the base game relic sub quests from generating. This is why I have only got Dragon quests until now, as they are added by a separate mod. I have found no way to fix this without removing Rimedieval, so I am currently testing removing the mod and instead going through Cherry Picker and manually removing all things above Medieval Tech, and installing Ignorance is bliss, to make sure other factions also stick to it. Obviously uninstalling a crucial mod mid playthrough is not ideal, but unless I make the series about becoming dragon hunters (not the biggest problem I must admit) then I will never get new relic quests. Testing seems to be ok so far, and have experienced no real issues with errors or performance, so I am hoping the relic hunting can continue in a few episodes and actually get back on track with the series :)

When it comes to genes that just give a drawback, remember that they lower metabolism. Giving a hungry character like Iselle e.g. "poor foraging" for +1 metabolism will likely still be a net positive for caravans unless her plant skill was really good (I don't recall). In fact, to fix her genes you'll probably want to pile on some "free" weaknesses so you can afford the genes that fix her monstrous genes. Technically the "blood vomit" one is also pretty for min/maxing, but uh, maybe not so thematic if the goal is to make Iselle _less_ of a terrible demon. :D I personally get more excited about drawback genes than positive genes most of the time. Giving some random pawn that doesn't to animals "Terrible Animals" for 2 free metabolism is great.
