History was truly made on the 5th when 16 ran that first train down to Jordan Summit. A new chapter has been opened for the EBT

@@DestroyertheRailwarrior thank you!! I thought so as well. The fog made a fantastic backdrop.

fog is an underrated background aesthetic for rail-fanning (especially at night)

Despite the weather with the fog I had a wonderful time and enjoyed the trip to Jordan's Summit on the dinner train plus Friday and night sorry I didn't get to enjoy Sunday we had another obligation to go to and on Monday we rode the Strasburg Railroad so we did two Railroads in two different days

Really enjoyed seeing this steam locomotive and really like it's whistle. Beautiful scenery to go along too. The motorcars were cool too but that's a pretty sick sounding horn on that green one. The little red one was cute.

A beautiful video and a great job by the railroad crews! Shame about that bell though.
@drpeerless13 ай бұрын
@MatecaCorp Thank you! And LOL! All I can say is, that it works and does it's job. Take the horns on M-1 and M-3 for example, they may not be the prettiest sounding, but they provide thr necessary warnings at grade crossings.

@@drpeerless1 I actually quite enjoy the motorcar horns haha

Out of all the narrow gauges lines I’ve visited so far, this is one I want to visit at some point in the future if I ever find the chance to visit Pennsylvania.

You will find it well worth your trip. Do you know where it is? Where are you coming from? (Need directions?)

In south-central Pennsylvania. If you're on the Turnpike, exit at Burnt Cabins and take Rt. 522 North to Orbisonia. At *the* stoplight, turn Left; cross the bridge, go to the railroad tracks, and you're there.😀 From Rt. 22, between Huntington and Lewistown lies Mt. Union. Take Rt. 522 South from Mt. Union to Orbisonia. In Orbisonia, at *the* stoplight turn Right, cross the bridge, go to the tracks, and you're there.
