Just as in his show, Jay Leno's garage, Jay is a class act and really shows his hard work ethic. Dr. Phil, you did a great job of drawing this out in your interview. Thanks Jay and Dr. Phil for allowing us a glimpse of Jay's personal values.

And Conan by far! Conan was the best with guests, so quick witted, hilarious, mostly non scripted and Leno was best at the monologue by far because it his amazing stand-up career/experience. Late night has really gone downhill since we've lost all these guys including Dave, Craig and Johnny of course. I heard Milton might be back though.

Agree 100%. To top it off, Craig's special, last and only guest on his final show was no other than the great Jay Leno. I miss them both. Thanks to KZbin I can still catch some past stuff from Craig. The Jayleno Fly has put together some great compilations of Craig's show.

Two icons, two legends, two giants, two stars, and enough talent to sink a battleship... they have every reason and opportunity under the sun to be selfish and snobby... but they're humble, approachable, and decent human beings. If we only could have more role models like them, this world would be a better place.

As a corporate pilot I’ve had that exact thing happen. I’ve gone out to dinner and there will be three hotels in a row and I can’t remember which hotel I’m staying in. I’ve also gone into a hotel, gone up to my room only to find my key doesn’t work. Go down to the desk to get my key reprogrammed and been told it was a Marriott key and this is a Hilton property. That’s the down fall to being on the road over 150 nights a year. Love the interview! Thanks for having Jay on!

What the world needs now and especially with the Putin crisis going on right now is a world full of Jay Leno's God Bless him and hedeserves all that he has and gives. Thank you Dr. Phil for doing this it gives me confidence in the world around us. ECF

Have always been a Jay Leno fan. I used to live near the hangar where he kept his cars, I don’t know if this is from the same hangar at the Burbank Airport but that was in the late 80s early 90s. I saw him a few times driving a different car to work at the NBC studio. I was a driver for the Walt Disney Co. and once I delivered some documents to his studio office back stage, he wasn’t there but I remember seeing Michael J. Fox sitting in the green room as I walked through the hallway.

I think you knew my mom Jay, my aunt seems to think so, she was a redhead, Gypsie Rose Lee taught her and my aunt how to dance. were related to her somehow I forget, but when my brother got married in Reno in like 88 or so she knew about your car collection I thought she had said it was in town then but it was a while ago, she talked as if you were friends but of course she and her sister were going down there to Reno and Vegas on the regular in the early 60s even earlier .. both my aunt and her were GOGO dancers and they would go down and dance on weekends, dunno exactly which clubs tho.. I remember Harrahs ash trays and coin plates.. they always brought home that kinds of stuff .. they may have just worked in the same club you were working in I am sure that's what it was or they just caught your act but she knew you had all those cars in 88 or so I remember her saying when we were in Reno she was like "yea Jays cars are just over there" or that's here his cars are?.. I'll talk to my aunt I'm seeing her this month see if I can get her to talk of those days .. of course my mom passed away a few years back from cancer, they were very wild back then my father told me this but they never let on to us kids ..

Being dirty, crude and outrageous.. throw in shocking language... and its easy to get a laugh compared to clean comedy. Clean comedy, like a joke you could tell a 10 yr old or a 90 yr old. Jay is the best at that comedy... hilarious guy, made me lol many times. Its not just the joke itself, obviously... its the way he looks and sounds, his delivery, facial expressions and body language... his voice and tones, his laugh etc. Its the entire package.

He was awesome to his staff for all those years, stuck with them. Would even call other comics and congratulate them when they were new and up-and-coming, guys like Louis c.k. etc, that they attest to how supportive he was. I always wonder when these rich people die who gets all that money who's going to get all those cars? Mavis didn't want children. Usually when people get older they get lonely and they terribly regret that. I totally know Jay wishes he had a son to work on cars with and teach him stuff with and bond. Thanks Mavis
