I went through stuff kinda like this. I was clinically depressed for years taking care of my ailing mom. You go to bed at night wishing she would pass peacefully in her sleep and then wrestle with the guilt during the waking hours. When she eventually passed I stopped taking the depression meds because I didn't need them and I ended up feeling guilt over that. I was also in a sexless marriage for 7 of the 10 years we were married, not by my choice, but I never cheated. Once that marriage ended, I lost 50lbs and went on a sexual rampage. I was doing things and taking chances I would never have done before, for a good 6 months before I came back to Earth. Pent up frustration will doomed crazy things to you.

If she could NOT push her kids away.. be a little more discreet... that might be the best of both worlds. It's not a good idea, at her age, to be pushing her very loving children away.

I'm not a fan of this woman, but she's right. Her child doesn't have any right to snoop through her phone. Her youngest daughter seems like an entitled, spoiled, young woman.

Let her live! She is not someone who does things and point fingers if she messed up. She is owning everything. It might not be the norm for an older woman to be living like a teen but it is ok. By doing so i do not think she is becoming a neglectful mom/wife bec the kids are grown already and no husband to be faithful to. She will eventually slow down when shd had enough of fun

It's like playing music to a donkey....they won't listen nor understand it and treat it as some noise or take it from the right ear and leave it from the left....Some people are hopeless that it's useless to tell them anything and the people around them have to carry this burden till he/she dies.

Ummm no. That's not a thing. Alcoholism is not a physical illness. Its psychological. So is body dysmorphia. So when you're deeply depressed and hate yourself, you self-medicate. It has nothing at all to do with surgery. Alcohol isn't absorbed in your stomach silly. Yes they can get drunk faster and more sick because they physically become overfull by the calories, solid or liquid, but it doesn't lead to alcoholism. There is no association between becoming an alcoholic and getting a gastric bypass.

They want her to stop driving drunk and giving money to scammers. She could kill someone, go to prison, or become destitute. That's not even remotely unreasonable to ask of a grown woman.

If she had gastric bypass, its not uncommon for them to become alcoholics. its because the drunk hits so fast and stays longer, it gets you addicted fast.

reminding you that these people actually have stories and you can check their personal social media’s that exist even years after the show. and dr. phil has a doctorate in psychology but he hasn’t renewed it so i think you’re misconstruing his credentials. he doesn’t claim to be a therapist he just says he’s licensed in psychology which is pretty much the truth
