It may be frustrating, it may be hard, but it takes someone being someone's rock and anchor when they're as mentally scrambled as Dr. Contessa obviously is. look at what she's saying, really *saying* in this: she feels crazy, she feels confused, she feels like she's in groundhog day. People run back because they are being emotionally manipulated-- thoroughly! And she's said before that she has friends that reinforce the idea that this is HER fault so she HAS to be the one to fix it. It's fine to set a boundary with friends like these and it's even fine to want to avoid the conversation because you're exhausted, but I would extend that people be there for when the distress sets in, that they don't turn completely cold. Because then the cycle continues forever and it gets worse and worse. Some people can't do it alone. Some people really need the help.

Dr. Contessa is such a beautiful, and nice woman, and doctor. When she was in Nashville, she was in the hospital was doing my clinicals at. That made me really sad and frustrated for her. As far as communication goes, I do agree with that. But for Contessa, it's like Scott gives her NO other choice bc he doesn't listen nor noone seems to be home in his head. So shes frustrated and everyone handles things differently. Some keep it inside and some run to family and friends to talk out their feelings/frustration. That's what contessa does. Scott is just a assjerk trying to save face that's why he tells things outside his wife.
