I work in a lab and we have to have our hair back. My best friend is my team lead and her hair is really long and she has to put it in a bun. Most labs have that rule even with out flames. I work in a medical lab so maybe it’s different though, our main concern is not getting samples in our hair.

For some reason we are all disgusted by counterfeit makeup and other products and what conditions they are made in yet we aren't all disgusted by the horrendous working conditions children and adults in other countries face when making the clothes and other products YOU are wearing and using. They did state that talc in natural form contain asbestos is known to cause cancer but all products that been talcum products been asbestos free since 1970s. They have done studies but they have mixed results. They have mixed results about talcum links to ovarian cancer. If it's tested on animals, it's after the ingredients have been collected, and even if they are "good", the conditions where they're manufactured is what can cause the problems. Besides, pretty much all the products that are tested on animals are those being sold in the legitimate Chinese market, which would be the "real" ones; fakes sold on the streets aren't generally regulated in China, either, so noone knows what they contain...

I suggest buying drug store brands if you can’t or don’t like to spend a lot on money on makeup. Non biased and genuine Beauty brand reviewers on KZbin such as Tati have made videos of their favorite drug store products that are safer than counterfeit. There are drug store brands that now do their own imitations of other high end makeup.
