I have non diabetic gastroparesis, clonic inertia and fatty liver disease and have lost down to 100lbs
@drsandracabot Жыл бұрын
Just say fatty liver is associated with insulin resistance and this can damage nerves such as the vagus nerve. Good on you for losing weight! I hope you are taking a good and easily absorbed Magnesium supplement such as Liverdoctor MAGNESIUM ULTRAPOTENT POWDER. Thanks for your comment! Dr Sandra Cabot

Hi Dr. Sandra My GP diagnosed me with slow gut motility which first happening several years ago during my depression and anxiety episode (My activity and eating schedule were disrupted). I feel bloated, frequent farting, always feel fuel and feel the food is moving very slowly (no force for urgency to go to toilet when the time comes, just feels stuck down there). Is this related to vagus nerve ? Thank You Best Regards, Kelvin

I suggest you try intermittent fasting such as missing breakfast or even lunch as well. do this for several months. if you get hungry try a raw vegetable juice as this will reduce gut inflammation. see my book titled RAW JUICES CAN SAVE YOUR LIFE. I also hope you have had an ultrasound scan of your abdomen to check your liver and gallbladder. there is a high chance you have the wrong gut bacteria and they are fermenting the carbohydrates in food. have you tried a lower carbohydrate diet? As far as supplements go I recommend MAGNESIUM ULTRAPOTENT POWDER one tsp daily, and SUPER DIGESTIVE ENZYME CAPSULES in the middle of meals. Stay physically active as exercise helps gut motility. Best wishes Dr Sandra Cabot www.liverdoctor.com

@@drsandracabot Yes I had an ultrasound and endoscopy. I eat only for dinner perday (I always feel full). I also had my probiotic supplement. I will look for your suggestion for the supplement and juice. I wonder is the depression could affect the vagus nerve? Thanks for your reply before anyway.
