Wow, this is like a light bulb turning on for me! Finally answers to why my digestion has been in disarray and getting worse the last few years. My cervical problems started decades ago after getting bucked off a horse and later a car accident. It started with a year of headaches and progressed to extreme fatigue. Years ago one of my chiropractors saw that my neck was straight on examination of xrays. A therapist was surprised how unstable my neck was and it scared her because it bent so far the wrong way. I'm so happy I found this page. Maybe one day I could travel for treatment.

I've been suffering through this terrible medical system. One specialist after another, countless appointments that result in nothing but disappointment and continuous pain. I've had slower digestion, acid reflux, arm tingling, chest pain, neck pain, brain fog, headaches, insomnia, tachycardia that has been diagnosed as POT syndrome and recently sleep apnea; I've seen every gastroenterologist in my area, several surgeons, pulmonologist, neurologist, and finally a rheumatologist. I was even sent to a psychiatrist! Pills and pills overflow my medicine cabinet, attacking some symptoms while causing others, and nobody attempts to find the cause. This video resonates with all I've been dealing with. I hope to be seen and treated soon 🙏

Oh Tommi, you've helped me tremendously. I'm not nearly as "bad" as you were, but I've had years (decades) of significant medical things go wrong in my life, and now with the help of the Caring Medical videos and Dr Ross Hauser I just found, I'm beginning to see how all these things fit together and have little links to each other and give me so many "ohhhhh" moments. Thanks so much, more than can be expressed Tommi and Dr Hauser.

Dr. Hauser, I don’t understand why more doctors are not curious about the subject of cervical instability. ……. This is where my mother is: on a g-tube and starving to death…. Her doctor is thinking of positioning the tube so the feeding goes directly into her small intestine…. My mother said her hospitalist was impressed with me because I told him that I think a nerve going to her stomach was damaged and is causing problems. I didn’t know what gastroparesis was until I inquired further with online publications of medical journals. But of the things regarding the vagus nerve, I learned from you and this channel….. My mother is on dialysis. She has suffered for so long in her life. I have to do what I can to help her. She cannot starve to death for the lack of knowledge. Thank you for these KZbin videos and all that you do…..

It has made me feel crazy for sure. My Drs have even resorted to asking me if I'm keeping on seeing the mental health therapist. Ive had a 360 Nissan fundoplication due to digestive problems but yet still no definitive answer. They diagnosed me w pain syndrome and pain management wanted to put in a back stimulator. I know in my heart its something they are not looking at. Thanks for this enlightening video! This helps to explain why my doctors prescribed the vagus nerve stimulating medication Mestinon (Pyridostigmine) to treat both my gastroparesis and POTS, and why I've responded extremely well to it. Since I've responded so well to Mestinon, that might be a good sign that I'd also have success with Prolotherapy targeting my vagus nerve.

About year ago I developed occipital neuralgia out of nowhere. I now know I have cervical instability ( or damage within my neck and skull base) the entire conversation about any serious head movement leading to whiplash, that took me about five months to realize that's what was happening to me. The dizziness the nausea the lack of bowel function abdominal bloating blurry and pressure behind my right eye. The pressure on the right side of my skull behind my ear was excruciating I felt her pain when she got emotional 'cause dark days indeed. (I'm still not sure if I've developed ibd, or if mt ibs is just constantly being triggered by my right side neck. My trap is always rock hard) I live in Canada, and unfortunately I moved to Cape Breton Nova Scotia where just getting blood work done can take three months... Hello Dr. Hauser, this video gave me hope for my condition. I am currently struggling with digestion issues that lead to heart palpitations and anxiety. These symptoms are often relieved by belching over and over again. Went to so many different specialists and they all say my heart and digestive track are fine. Just like Tommi, I too started getting symptoms after being sick and vomiting. I just had a quick question about something. Sadly, you are not in my area, and I want to find a doctor that does something similar to what you are doing. What should I search up for my area to find someone similar to you? I guess what I'm trying to ask is what is your title? Should I look up "prolotherapy doctor" or am I able to get my neck fixed by going to the chiropractor? Your videos have been tremendously helpful, and I thank you for uploading all this great content. Thanks.

I hope you all get this message even though the video was posted a year ago. Bare with me while I explain. I relate with her almost 100% minus the vomiting. I'm chronically ill, (can't use the bathroom or tolerate laxatives in order to go, can't eat, losing weight, daily headaches, numbness and tingling, palpitations, shortness of breath and extreme fatigue). I'm at the end of my rope and none of my Dr's are helping me. I feel like I won't get better and my symptoms are debilitating most days. My Dr just recently ordered a neck and lumbar Xray and the neck portion came back "normal", even though I hear crackling and grinding in my neck every time I move it and can feel the inflammation and pain around the vertebrae. My lumbar xray showed mild scoliosis. The pain in my whole back and neck is pretty bad, but not as bad as my other symptoms. My question is, If I had a "normal" neck Xray, would I still benefit from prolotherapy? Is there a way you all can see more than my Dr's here are seeing? I am desperate for help! Thanks in advance!

Anyone can feel isolated and very much alone when their MD cannot effectively treat a long term condition and not one specialist among many different ones can help either. Traditional medicine fails to work as an interdisciplinary team to identify the cause and effectively treat a recurring condition that renders the patient severely ill. Simply referring the patient from one specialist to another, with no collaboration among them, is very poor medicine. Not only that, in many cases there is no one in doctor’s offices to follow up with chronic care conditions to assist patients mental health issues associated with chronic conditions.

Thank you for your comments. ZERO Follow-up Care seems to be a Common issue within our "Sickness- system". To actually be a "HEALTH-CARE" System, We must take a entirely different View Overall. PROactive vs. REactive approaches to Lifestyle choices, as well as utilizing a "Whole-body View". In addition to the physical body, our Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual states - Stability and Support systems must be considered. The separate "Specialties system"... really DOES NOT WORK for the Patient's Benefit at all. Doctors and Clinics make fast Insurance money, Pharmaceutical sales are Booming to COVER UP Symptoms rather than seeking out "Root cause" of issues... Meanwhile, the Patient becomes a "Faceless Number" that no one Follows through with, potentially heading off future problems... Time to go back to the BASICS!

All I can say is wake up. Do your own research on real Doctors. Like Dr Sebi, learn about Alkaline diet. Stop relying on the system. The system was never built for the good of us. It it is designed against us. Our old ways of living used to be from mother nature, eating and consuming foods from the land that we plant and grow, consume fresh water from the river bank. Have real meat to butcher from animals. You only get that in the mother land Africa/Jamaica. The other countries you have the matrix systems, the economy, supermarkets etc. They have taken our original ways of life away and given us the system they built.

Wow... such pain. I'm so glad to come across your channel. I don't even want to talk about the depression when you can't get better, or get the help you need, and Doctor's thinking you're overreacting. I have suffered for about 10yrs with different stomach problems. Gas, bloating so they say lactose intolerance, but I know it was calcium issues, my body doesn't break down calcium. But I stayed away from dairy. Then it was GERD and was on ppi for about 4yrs. I got off because Doctors warned it is not to be permanent. I believe it wiped away all of my enzymes. So in the last few years I started taking enzymes.Then I had trouble swallowing in the past. The last 7yrs constipation. I took EVERYTHING I could. Finally got linzess 6mths ago. I lost over 25lbs, can't digest food. So change my diet, that helps because why eat something you know won't breakdown. They never suggested a swallow test. I only here bowel sounds when I take linzess. Brain fog, exhaustion are my main symptoms now. I lost jobs, became homeless, because my energy level is so low. I had them do xrays of my neck because I tell them its pain around there and my shoulders like arthritis. They said in C5,C6 I believe shows mild deterioration. I didn't know about the vagus nerve, I heard of it but now know what x-ray to ask for thanks to your channel. Such a relief, no one can imagine, unless you've gone through it. Thanks!!

If the root of the problem is because of something structurally wrong with the neck, then wouldn't the neck problem need to be fixed for the problem to actually be solved? I understand how prolotherapy can help and relieve symptoms and help regenerate the vagus nerve, but if the actual problem is something in the neck pressing on or stretching the nerve, wouldn't the neck need to be brought back into alignment by a chiropractor to see long term healing? Thank you for any info you have on this!
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris, Good question and yes, you are correct about needing to fix the neck problem. Prolotherapy treats the connective tissue (ligaments) that hold the vertebrae in place. Because the ligaments became damaged/weak/degenerated/overstretched, it allows the vertebrae to move too much (neck instability). Thus, getting into alignment is great and then Prolotherapy is used to help stay that way. Many people are unable to "hold" adjustments, and that is not a muscle problem, it is a ligament problem. Muscles can help to a degree but in cases of instability, they are being constantly overworked in order to stabilize the spine, leading to really tense/tight/painful muscles. It's the ligament-muscular reflex which tries to protect the surrounding structures at all cost (spinal cord, vagus nerve, etc.) by tightening the muscles when the ligaments fail. Thus, treating the ligaments in these cases is treating the root cause. Hope that helps. We discuss this in much greater depth in our Prolotherapy and vagus nerve webinars and some of our other videos that discuss muscles vs. ligaments. Wish you all the best in healing!

Can the opposite be caused by neck issues? I have severe chronic (liquid) diarrhea that triggers severe vomiting and my gut motility test shows everything is racing through me. I also get coughing, burping, hiccuping, and cold sweats when this happens, as if my nervous system is misfiring everything at once. All my GI tests were fairly normal except the gut motility test. I had Covid in February and have had ME for 17 years next week. The severe diarrhea started when I had Covid and now it won't stop. I keep having to go to the hospital for IV fluids and medicine to treat me for dehydration. My symptoms always happen first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. When I vomit, I get dry heaves for hours and end up vomiting bile. Please, if anyone knows what this is, help! It doesn't seem triggered by certain foods. The diarrhea is constant if I don't take Imodium every day.

I just don't understand how you jump from daily diarrhea and vomiting so bad it gives me dehydration, to "anxiety." It is disrespectful, unhelpful, and sexist to assume that women with unexplained health issues are merely suffering from untreated anxiety! First of all, I've tried antidepressants for this, because I'm willing to try anything to get relief, and it makes ZERO improvement. But my issue is, why do men on the internet assume they can diagnose anxiety in women without knowing a damn thing about my mental health? It's a gendered issue because women's serious health issues get blown off as "anxiety," which effectively means NOTHING is done to treat them. I've encountered thousands of women online in my 17 years of being sick who have been misdiagnosed as having anxiety and have ended up with serious damage or nearly dying as a result, because their real medical needs went unmet. And yeah, you maybe didn't know about this problem? But you do now. Stop assuming that women's health issues are caused by poor mental health. Look up the history of "female hysteria," a completely fake diagnosis that male doctors gave to women with real untreated medical problems. There is a sexist, misogynistic legacy of this running through medicine today still. It lives on in the ideas that you subscribe to, that we are so mentally weak we made ourselves totally debilitated and severely ill. The fact you even think that is possible is really insulting. I'm not against there being a legit mind/body connection, but people don't get this ill from mere anxiety.

What exactly is "neck instability"?
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy Жыл бұрын
Great question! When a person has cervical (neck) instability, specially upper cervical instability, there is a greater tension on the spinal cord which can then pull on the brain stem and that traction can then cause a lot of problems with the brain stem - ie, cervical instability can cause a lot of symptoms within the body. The good news is that Prolotherapy can often help with these symptoms! Here are some great resources from Dr. Hauser regarding cervical instability. kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3rKoauOhrOAaa8 www.caringmedical.com/prolotherapy-news/craniocervical-instability/#:~:text=Cervical%20instability%20affects%20the%20functioning,%2C%20breathing%2C%20and%20energy%20levels.

Beautiful testimony. Thank you so much for speaking and acting out of the so -called 'protocol' of the medical system.

Doc, please I need your help. I stumbled across your Channel a few months ago and had all the symptoms of an upper cervical instability, so I got an MRI scan and went to a neurologist, but he told me if I did have an upper cervical instability he'd see it in the MRI scan.. and he started fantasizing and telling me I might have a particular kind of depression.. But my gut feelings tell me otherwise. I am certainly NOT depressed. I am just sad I've been going through this for the past 5 years. Could it be that the doctor just doesn't know? I felt like he didn't have a clue.. I am so frustrated and don't know what to do..

Hi nerv nicht, Sorry to hear what you have been going through for the past 5 years. It could be that the doctor simply doesn't know. Not all doctors study the cervical spine and the vagus nerve. Tommi's experience in the video is actually quite common where her doctors all meant well but they just didn't specialize in cases like hers that needed a more comprehensive approach. As you have probably seen in one of our recent joint instability videos, in order to know if a joint is unstable, you have to move it- just like to know if a hinge is loose on a cabinet door you have to open/close the door. Our office focuses on diagnostic testing that involves analysis of the vertebrae, nerves, veins, etc..in various real-life positions and motions. If you feel that you would like to be seen in our center, you are welcome to reach out to us directly. We wish you all the best in health and resolving your symptoms!

@@CaringmedicalProlotherapy yes I found out shortly after posting and looked for some local prolothearpists in my area. I found one. I think I might see my chiropractor first, after sorting out some nutritional deficiencies for a while and see if i'll eventually go for a consultancy with this therapy (been suffering from gastroparensis and other GI issues since a young boy). I've always had a stiff neck and shoulder (only on the right) due to my heavy addicting to awkward placements at the computer since a young person.
