Actually, there aren't any definitive longitudinal studies specifically linking facial bone reabsorption and jowl sagging in the same individuals over time. This is due to several challenges such as technical difficulties: Measuring subtle changes in facial bone structure accurately over time is challenging. Traditional X-rays or CT scans have limitations in capturing detailed changes, while more precise methods like cone-beam CT (CBCT) are expensive and involve radiation exposure. Longitudinal study complexities: Designing and executing longitudinal studies can be time-consuming and costly, requiring consistent follow-up of participants over years or even decades. Additionally, controlling for other factors influencing facial aging, like skin elasticity, fat distribution, and muscle tone, can be difficult. The direct link between individual bone reabsorption and jowl development needs further longitudinal research. While studies on aging skulls reveal a pattern of bone loss, no study has directly tracked individuals, and no causal connection to sagging has ever been determined.

Wow, you look amazing Sarah. Caroline Barnes mentioned you in one of her makeup videos recently. I love Caroline, she's just so personable. I'd love a video on how things have been since your BBL, if you went for a top up, and what treatments you've had done to your face. You've changed significantly since the start of your channel and I personally would love to hear about everything you've had done to make your face look so "perfect". You've obviously lost weight, but normally a face would sag and sink a little post weight loss, especially with age, but you must be 43 now and you look younger now than you did when you started the channel 6 years ago. How on earth have you managed to lift and snatch that chin and jawline into the perfect 'V' shape? Your results are some of the best I've seen. I'd also love to have a consultation with you, but I don't live anywhere near London (but still in the UK) so do you offer video consultations? I'm 2 years post botched facial surgery and it's massively affected the quality of my life and mental health. The surgeon died several weeks prior to my post surgical consulation and the private hospital refuse to accept responsibility. It's been a dreadful few years. I'm hoping that the areas of concern can be improved with non-surgical procedures, but I've been too anxious to speak to anybody out it. I'd love to have a chat with someone as experienced and personable as you, plus I'd be willing to travel to have procedures performed by you and your team at The Lovely Clinic. Can't wait for more content. All the best. Anna

Oh wow that’s quite a ride- was it Neil Kirkpatrick? I had a seroma after my first BBL so I went back a year later to have the fistula repaired and another round of fat transfer. I’m glad I did it but now I lost weight you can’t really see the fat in the bum, all the projection is from the implant! It was a lengthy process also. If I had known what it was going to like would I have done it? Not sure. I have done Exosomes, Botox, Aptos, Nordyx, HarmonyCa, Sunekos, Nucleofill, Revive all sort of recently-ish and of course a lifetime of hyaluronic acid and also Moxi and BBL. Everyone says threads don’t work (and even I said it when I was using Silhouette and PDO) but now I have really found my mojo with them. Yes we give patients the option of doing video consultations or in person but if you have had previous facial surgery it can make things more complicated depending on exactly what was done

Night I use the same cleanser and alternate revision DEJ night cream and skinbetter alpharet. If I am dry I got this serum in Japan recently from a brand called Haba which I am rating. Profhilo being ha is biostimulating how? Just from pressure? Won’t it dissolve and droop? I usually put the hardest filler under ligaments on bone. So it will stay there. Wouldn’t that also be biostimulating due to pressure ? Thanks. Love this stuff.
@DrSarahTonks Жыл бұрын
So the manufacturer are claiming a specific capacity of Profhilo to be biostimulatory and even acting on the fat. Of course that’s what they say about polynucleotides too (not about the fat). For a long time Arthur Swift has talked about injecting in the ligament areas but I have never heard him say it was biostimulatory
@barriebrown7894 Жыл бұрын
@@DrSarahTonks probably anything you stick in face will be bio stimulating. If only as a scar. Right? Filler on cheek bones stretches ligaments. I can feel it. Profhilo is so thick but it dissipates fast. Is it supposed to make more fat ? I wanna see studies lol it’s just ha right? I hate the lumps. Now I do small lumps all over the older looking parts of my face. Still takes days to go away. I don’t see much difference. If my face is eating the regular filler how much difference can there be ? Have you tried putting profhilo on the bone ? For sure it can cause an occlusion. It’s so thick.

Thanks for answering. I'm a huge fan! I've watched all your videos at least 10 times over 😃 kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5rEq6qhbZiVj6Msi=lgC90E3Ho2VFnOwZ This is one of the video where he mentions it as: inflammation led protein creations. So yes like sculptra. In other videos he suggest things like sculptea, hyper dilute radiesse, most skin boosters, and pdrn does not help with skin healing or elasticity If I remember the other videos I'll link it. I'm just curious on your opinion because I spoke to my nurse that's an injector yesterday and she has not used polynucleotides and rejuran yet because she is scared and doesn't believe it will help. She has purchased rejuran hb but has not used it on a patient yet. I've had pdrn injected many times when I visit Korea and find it reduce inflammation and coloring of PIH and PIE quickly which sounds like the opposite of what dr abs would suggest. Thanks for taking the time to read! I'd love more information on this so I can forward to my nurse friends!

I have filmed a video about Sunekos but it’s not been edited yet. Well I can’t remember if it’s in this polynucleotides video or the other one I made but it’s been shown to aid in wound healing in the same way as hyaluronic acid so I’m not sure where he’s coming from there! It’s also not my experience with using the product
