The comparison between Emery and Arteta is judt a silly one. As they said Emery has been a manager for 18 years and arteta is in his 5th year. Emery was never going to work at arsenal because the club was in an absolute mess, from board to players it was a mess. Emery is an incredible manager who has won a lot but struggled in CL bar one visit to the semi finals with villarreal. He has one domestic league to his name. All can agree its an impressive resume but lets remember he struggles at bigger clubs. Arteta has had to build Arsenal from the group up he has had to restore a culture, standards on and off the pitch and bring an identity back that Emery didnt have. There was the language barrier which was widely publicised that affected Emery at Arsenal has to be noted. Arteta has been backef because he is Arsenal through and through and has shown that he is constantly growing and developing as a manager. If he wins the League and a cup or two this season and something in europe the season after then for me you can have the debate. But to compare a manager for 18 years to a manager of 5 is just pointless

Comparisons debates are always silly. However, I disagree with some of your points about Emery time at Arsenal vs Arteta's. Arteta success is simply because Arsenal spent a lot of money on good players. Emery failure at Arsenal is down to spending a lot of money on bad players. Common thread is the recruiting department. Arteta is very fortunate that Edu fired the recruiting dept or he would not be as hyped as he is right now. These subjective points about culture building and language barrier are inconsequential.
