Photos from the Newcastle game clearly showed the ball was out, while a simple measurement of the ball behind Bowen’s leg would show it was impossible for it to be in as the ball cannot be that wide (it’s a circle) so both were defintiely out of play.

The problem with ESR was never the talent, but the physicality, great player but even with Fulham he looks gassed after 60mins... at Arsenal with their very intense out of possession play he was never going to survive. Nwaneri is younger, has greater potential (imo) and plays more like Odegaard.

Rightly so, cos the media always have an agenda. Sometimes, the managers and players just want to talk about the match in the post game interview, while the media team have no interest in the match they're supposed to talk about. It is called post game interview for a reason. These guys ask unconnected questions and try to set managers up by instigating controversial conversations, d naturally the managers and players now have to simply divert back to the safe zone of conversation. It's possible that for someone like you, you'd have to go through it before you get to understand it.

Jorginho is a pretty back up player too. He still good possession wise and breaking the lines of the opponent but lacks defensive aspect of the game. So playing partey/rice with him seems to have a good decent midfield combination.

Until Arsenal signs a striker that can match city's Haaland. Arsenal can NEVER win the league.
