True, it seems too safe sometimes with little risk taking! I believe a couple of years ago, Arsenal had no expectations on them and nobody saw them as real challengers to City, but now for the third season running, the onus is on them to win the league especially with City now providing them with a huge opportunity! They don't have the same freedom of being underdogs anymore, the way teams set up against Arsenal is the way teams set up against City!

I don’t know where this narrative comes from. Liverpool bottle the league last year and had a great chance to win it. A lot of people were giving them leeway this season to not challenge but to finish 3rd behind Arsenal/City. City and Arsenal have both dropped off and have had major injuries to key players. If I was a Liverpool fan I’d have thought I’d been the 1st team to pick up any slack. This “no one expected us in the top 4” is a cop out. Who was supposed to be better than you? 6placed Chelsea?
