There are few points that strike in my mind!! At first you told patient has nothing to do with how good is your ambience, how good is your work and how good is your treatment, he only thinks of the bargain, then how come adding value helps in cutting off bargain!! Sir, genuinely asking , a person with a habit of bargain will always ask for a bargain, in spite of the super ambience or gadgets!! I need to know do i modulate the charges prior to tackle such patients, so that they land safe into my budget !! Now a days emi's by bajaj finserv have cut down the bargaining issues, still every month one or two comes with the bargaining response!! Sir i need your suggestion for all the types of dental surgeon working with HIG, MIG and LIG!!
@DrSujitPardeshi4 жыл бұрын
Hi @Shivalik Mitra - people bargain always - correct...frankly, there's nothing wrong in negotiation - we all do it when we're on the other side of the table. The message is if you add MASSIVE VALUE to the patients, you'll definitely see bargaining going down -- you've already mentioned that 1-2 patients bargain every month...that's too less a number - you should be actually happy for it. It also means that probably your value addition is very good. Keep up the good work! All the best!

What to do if a new patient is telling me the charge is too high of a treatment compared to some x or y clinic?? And sir don't you agree that some patients only look at the price rather than anything about value??
@DrSujitPardeshi5 жыл бұрын
Agreed that for few patients, price is the only criteria...solution? leave them to select the clinic of their choice. Majority of patients would be willing to spend little more if you can assure them that they will get better treatments at your centre. Hope it helps! By the way, this is one of the most commonest questions asked in my courses! I'm happy to answer here as well...haha!

Too much business minded thoughts... Warren buffet as an example... Sure you are a businessman. Please shift to open businesses rather than spoiling the minds of health profession whose mind should be dedicated to curing the needy (either rich or poor) rather than money... money is needed by doctors too for their living but it should be at secondary level of importance for the health profession... Already many business minded people are eroding the real values of health care and you are one on the list. You people change the focus from providing appropriate treatment and cure to accessories... Already seeing all kinds of immoral acts by corporates in the name of preventive treatment and over cajoling the patients to ensure their pockets are always overflowing... instead of emphasising on educating the patients on their own responsibilities to be healthy...
@DrSujitPardeshi5 жыл бұрын
Thanks @Love & truth for your views. However, it seems you either didn't listened to the script properly or misunderstood the same. The video is all about ADDING VALUE to the patients in all possible ways. There's no correlation with business. In fact I didn't mention the word 'biz' even once in the entire video. Even Buffet's quote emphasises the importance of VALUE ADDITION only. So if you're a practicing doctor, my advice would be to focus on massive value addition for your patients in every possible way rather than irrelevantly & wrongly judging others. All the best! May you grow morally & ethically, personally as well as professionally.
