Been attending TLM lately and have been struck by the fact that everything is about giving worship to God. The sideshows, especially those involving the laity, are shed. I was thus awestruck by the comments of then Cardinal Ratzinger which gave learned language to my very thoughts.

After stumbling across Dr Marshall's channel during lockdown last year, my husband and I decided to attend the TLM here in Belfast as soon as the churches reopened. I cried during the first mass, the level of sacredness and reverence for Our Lord Saviour is something I'd never experienced at any other mass, it was beyond beautiful. I have been lazy with my only day off, Sunday. I attend a Novus Ordo mass at 10 am because the Latin mass is at noon. No more, I will be at the noon mass from now on, God willing. I will offer up my time, it isn't really mine anyway.

I'd like to know why too. Granted I know it can be a journey where obstacles need removed, but be assured, the Church is in the introduction of the Purification, and will be restored in glory. God's prodigies are going to be multiplied exponentially in manifestations that are going to make the Early Church miracles look pale in comparison. But it also consoles Jesus' Heart very much that we persevere here still throughout these tribulations and scourges.

Im 19 years old and the latin mass drew me in because of the alliance with saints and the humility. Growing up going to church at the norvus ordo, my friends would wear skin tight club dresses to the church and i was always confused if the laid back atmosphere and immodesty was okay with God. The community at TLM are also really diverse and humble. Its interesting and makes me rethink my path in life.

I would love a Missal I'm working working on converting to Catholicism after being raised southern Baptist from birth. And I've been drawn to the Latin Mass ever since I went on Easter Sunday 2020. I just finished my Consecration to St Joseph written by Father Donald Calloway. I never realized St Joseph was and is so awesome.

We started going to the TLM in November and only went once to the Novus Ordo, there's no turning back. We've learned so much about our faith from the Homilies at the TLM. The beauty of the Traditional Mass, the humility of the people attending, the devotion of the priests are inspiring. Our son who encountered TLM at his secular college ignited our love for this Mass. Same here. We moved from a NO to TLM parish last summer and there is no going back for us. Even my 6 and 8 y/o feel that way and are excited about their faith now. The Rosary is divided into mysteries, 'scenes', depicting the life of Jesus at various stages, which during the Rosary, persons also meditate on; with an intention to better emulate our Lord Jesus's life/His virtues. It is completely Scriptural based, and has the advantage of being retained to memory well. Families with small tots can recite it easily, yet it also simultaneously serves as a very deep prayer, that the likes of monasteries and convents also use etc. In essence, the Rosary at its core is about our Lord's Passion and Resurrection. It has infinite advantages, and one cannot imagine a more powerful event than a chorus of family members, church community, or even a huge crowd recite, offering everything up to Jesus. Of course, it isn't the only prayer that Catholics can use. It is rather sad that you make a comment completely misunderstanding it, and the role of Our Blessed Mother. God Bless you!

Adding a small phrase in the Hail Mary ( after “pray for us sinners “) add “spread the effect of grace of thy Flame of Love over all humanity “ then continue with “now and at the hour of our death. If you say 3 Hail Marys this way, the Blessed Mother has promised 10 souls will be released from Purgatory. In saying a full rosary-let’s do the math: 53 Hail Mary’s divided by 3=17 X 10= 170 souls you’ve released from Purgatory That’s the Blessed Mother and are received into heaven forever and ever.! Wow Get the book: The Flame of Love-The Spiritual Diary of Elizabeth Kindelman. Read In Revelation it talks about a woman clothed in the Sun, who would crush the serpent’s head under her feet.

:I left the church while attending a Catholic in-name-only college. Later, I became a staunch anti-Catholic Evangelical home schooling mom. I read myself back into the Ancient Church, and then was horrified at not just the banal and sometimes irreverent liturgies but also the milquetoast sermons/ lack of teaching. We searched and found a latin Mass less than an hour away. We love and so appreciate the reverence and beauty of the TLM, but we also are receiving potent unapologetic traditional TEACHING. Our only sorrow is that we were never taught, never knew such a powerhouse treasury of truth existed in the Church. And our church is FILLED with plenty of young large families and is GROWING. PRAY for your misguided or lost Catholic friends and family. If stubborn dingbats like us could receive such graces as to return, God can bring prodigals back!! PRAY. FAST. THANK YOU, TAYLOR, for bring on this wonderful priest. We continue to remember you and your family in our Rosaries!!

I started going to Latin mass late in September last year. I was familiar with a few parts of Latin due to occasionally having the Sanctus And Agnus Dei (Usually maybe more likely in advent or Lent) And the Kyrie because my pastor there is traditionally minded. But I haven’t gone to a high mass yet on Sunday though I did attend the solemn high mass on Holy Thursday. I’ve also taught myself two of the main prayers in Latin (the Hail Mary and the glory be) And I’ve begun to figure out some of the meaning of words of other Latin prayers. The missal is a good idea, especially if you are new to the Latin mass. I still need to get one. I go to a FSSP chapel

I walked away from the Novus Ordo 3yrs ago after spending most of my life there. I watched as it slowly became a church service and social hour. The musical instruments made it so loud that I couldn't even pray. The Holy Spirit moved me to the TLM where for the first time I SEE.Thank God for preserving the TLM for us Catholic Orphans! 🌹

I left mine as well, for much of the same reasons, but before I did the Priest that Baptized me, which I wish he wouldn't have now, and one of the major reasons I was, died suddenly, so I thought I'd see what our new Priest was like. We he got there I was excited, he was more conservative, was bringing the Tabernacle and Red lamp of faith from out of the closet, and near the Altar. Then the Parishioners started in, before and after Mass, in there little groups. All dedicated to ousting him. That was the last straw I left, and true to their word, they ousted him little over a year later. He even paid for the marble pillars and platform to hold the Tabernacle, and for the moving of it, out of his own pocket. He also bought several huge Statues of our Blessed Mother of Fatima. One of which was also placed near the Altar and Tabernacle. So sad, and so many demons, brought in by the one that died. I pray for them all, even the Priest in my morning Rosary.

When I was an alterboy back in the sixties and early seventies the Parish Priests would hear confession before every mass. Now we're restricted to a 45 minute block on a Saturday afternoon (and I work the midnight shift and confession occurs when I'm in bed). This lack of available confession really turns my stomach.

(Invisible) It never occurred to me to become Catholic because I didn't think I was allowed. After listening to Fr Wolfe and Fr Ripperger, I knew there was nothing else for me. I was then catechised by a FSSP priest for nine months or a year and confirmed. I became a Catholic when I was 18 (formally received into the Church, my journey started when I was 16). At that time Pope JP2 had been pope for about 3 years. The only Mass of course was the NO Mass (I think it's interesting that the initials for the Latin name for the new Mass is "NO!") However, many years later I heard about the TLM and wanted to attend. My husband (a cradle Catholic) was very resistant, and it wasn't until a couple of years ago, after some 30-plus years of marriage, that we were able to finally attend. I. LOVED. IT. I was so stunned it's beauty that I could not abide that we had not started attending it earlier, and was practically in tears. I wanted to go every week. My husband did not. (He decided it was "boring".) However, the "pandemic" was a blessing in disguise.....the priest in our parish has been well-indoctrinated and has not ceased pushing his parishioners to get at least 2 vaccines, plus the boosters; and he excoriates ANYONE who crosses him. That had the effect of driving my husband to the Latin Mass after all. (That plus the priest's lack of charity, lack of attention to theology, dereliction of duty etc) PS: going to the NO Mass now feels like eating at Macdonalds.....it seems okayish at the time but afterwards you feel like "What is wrong with that food?"

Finally, Finally I get it! I consider myself a devout traditional catholic with a deep devotion to Mary. I grew up with the latin mass as a kid but was not particularly devout. I’m a daily mass goer and frequent confessionee but Fr Ripperger finally explained to me why latin is a sacred language...because latin was one of the three languages affixed to the cross of Jesus. Father Ripperger is the instrument that my Gracious and Merciful God used to draw me back to the Church of my childhood . This , within the last year . Just a few words that Father said ..... they came to life in me and I was moved to Confession , Mass and Communion after more than 5O years away ! A few words spoken by Father and God's grace wrought a miracle in my life . I am now a witness to the sanctifying grace in and of the Sacraments. Especially under today's scandalizing circumstances in the Church , it is an absolute miracle that I returned and that I remain . I watched this 9 months ago & am watching it again. I agree with Fr Ripperger that THIS is not a time for lukewarm Catholics! WE found that out from our OWN lukewarmness! We went from Novus Ordo, receiving on the hand, to Ad Orientum, receiving at the altar rail, to a few Latin masses (have to travel) to desiring & hearing God call us THERE! I feel His prompting to veil...at ANY mass & I went from feeling embarrassed to WANTING to! Praise God!! AND, we are waiting on the head of our household to make the decision. He believes the new mass is the same AND he says he can't leave the parish of his whole life!! Please pray for my husband, to hear God in this call.

This was an awesome interview. I could comment on so many points that were made here but what stood out for me was what I just recently learned myself as a lifelong Catholic that the mystical body of Christ within the Catholic Church is affected by how spiritually fit we are and that our individual sin affects the mystical body of Christ in a negative way just like if we are trying to lead a holy life, in a state of grace, attending regular confession, attending regular Mass and receiving the Eucharist in a state of grace, along with our prayer life, all affect the mystical body of Christ in a positive way. I never knew this until about a month or so ago and I'm 57 years old. As they commonly say to us tardy people: "better late than never." Or as my father would tell me when I was younger, most likely to build up my self-esteem: "You'd be late for my own funeral."

Our TLM church building is small, sitting only about 100 people at a squeeze, which to comply with "Caesar's laws" we had to limit our numbers. Frustrating as it may have been, the lockdowns brought some graces to our tiny TLM community so much so that our priest has had to double the number of Masses offered on Sunday from 3 to 6, and we're now seeing a massive influx of young and old. People drive about an hour each way to get to Mass. We are grateful to be blessed with a priest who cares for his flock, much like Fr Ripperger. Praying that the same graces come your way wherever you may be.
