You are very right, God has used, and is still using, Dr. Evans. A quote of his that hit my soul about 20 years ago and has stuck with me ever since. Made me change my Christian walk, encouraged it. "Through you or around you, With you or without you, God will do his will. If he needs to remove you advance his will, He will." That hit me hard. Jacobite for me it’s not about being happy with injustice, it’s about being Godly despite it. I believe injustice must be fought against with justice work. And I believe I must forgive in order to be spiritually healthy and powerful enough to fight for justice. Forgiveness does not mean I let wrongdoings continue; it means I do not want to mimic the oppressor’s evil sickness, because then I will no longer be fighting for justice, but instead enrapturing myself in unGodly emotions, which in turn can actually prevent me from being able to recognize and follow Godly and justice-based ways of thought and practice.

I love the intro of Dr. Evan's with his sons and grandsons. I know he is still missing his lovely wife Minister Lois Evan's. Great message of truthfulness regarding systemic racism. I am disappointed that the church has been very silent regarding the killings and lynching of Blacks in 2020. During the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s many churches marched and had peaceful protests. I believe in righteous indignation a d putting action behind in the form of peaceful protests, petitioning persons in authority to change systemic oppression. To know better is to do better.

Thanks for this video. It's awesome. I am a retired deputy sheriff. I'm white. I taught my kids, 2 boys and 2 girls, how to behave during a traffic stop. Keep your hands on the steering wheel. If you can, turn on the interior light. Be polite, even if you think you didn't do anything wrong. If you get a ticket, accept it without arguing. If you don't, be thankful towards the officer. You will have an opportunity to address it in court. Additionally, the attitudes of the driver and officer generally determine how the encounter will go. I didn't make illegitimate traffic stops. If I stopped a driver, I had seen a violation. When a driver immediately begins to tell me they did nothing wrong and I shouldn't have stopped them, the chances increased that a ticket was going to be issued. Polite drivers, who understood why I stopped them, even if they disagreed, usually went away with a verbal warning. I had addressed the issue I had observed, a discussion of our had been completed, and hopefully the driver received a reminder to drive more safely.

Well, God bless the entire Evans family! I'm a product of the era of Dr. King. I was at Shaw University at the time. I marched, sang, and spent 3 nites in jail singing we shall overcome. Did it help the situation-- I thought so--. However, here I am 50 yrs later living in SanDiego and feeling the pain of racism all over again and being too old to take to the streets. Pastor Evans I know this was for your sons but I am a 61yo black woman who just this morning was trying to explain how I just get so angry about all that is going on and how I can't seem to let it go. I know I am not supposed to keep being angry but this video really brought it home to me as to how I am to be a image of God and in order to be that image I have to live His Word not just read it. I couldn't understand the anger I feel but I knew it was not right. You explained it just like God was talking to me. I know this is for me too and I am so grateful for what God is doing with you and through you. I work in a little town at the Police Department and have been here for 41 years. I started in 1979 so I am very aware of all that is going on with the police. I know that in spite of all that is going on I still have to be a light to those who are struggling. I will continue to look to HIM WHO is able to do all and more and I pray that you continue to teach because we really need that in such times as these. Blessings to you and your family.

Thank you Dr. Evans for sharing a discussion with your son’s the importance of their roles in everyday life as Father’s, Uncle’s and Men of Valor. Most modern father’s and men seemingly are feeling awkward in their roles in their zones; home life, workplaces, community, and the church. Society’s guilt is disparaging the role of Fathers as Shepherds in the home, leading up to the disorder and disobedience playing out today as utter chaos and confusion in every venue in the world. God’s blueprint for the family hasn’t changed, nor has His overall purposes, plans, primary objectives and strategies. Humanity is seeking discipline, yet when we witness disruptions in the home it’s by in large due to men who are ghost-like or acting as the backstage handyman awaiting directions. Praying conversations such as these come to the big-screen, so the entire family can be reoriented to understanding God’s design for the family - The Big Picture. 🙏 Isaiah 46:10, 11 “My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure’… Truly I have spoken; Truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, surely I will do it.”

Growing in the up in the 70s was easy, when you lived a shelter life. I did not meet a black man or woman until i was school age. I did not look at any other ethnicity any different. I was Italian/Irish Catholic lower middle class, born in a new suburb of Philadelphia. A Jewish community mostly. I never experienced white preference, old boy club behavior. I was brought up near a mobile home park. I did experience discrimination due to my lack financially, and socially because my family was from the "west' side. I'm thankful for you Tony Evans. Praise God!

This speaking with your sons who I know are truly Sons-of- God has truly received profound and divine knowledge from your parenting it is so awesome to hear you as a black man explaining to them how going through some racial tensions as we are experiencing today letting them know in all our doing even me being a woman of God that we must truly walk wisely as this saying that you said was a nugget for me . When we walk wisely "It is always better to live another day to tell your story". That nugget reached my spirit as a confirmation from God that it is always wise to attune to Godly council. Dear Friends of God......................Please research God's Time/Calendar in Genesis 1:14 before a False Sabbath law is enforced! Actions are in progress to honor a Sabbath day, “Green Sabbath”, “Laudato Si, par. 237”, etc. Already today, there are Sunday laws written on government books. The true Sabbath Is not Friday, Saturday, Sunday, etc. The true Sabbath is calculated by true time, Genesis 1:14. The first week.....the new moon day, the six work days and the Sabbath day. The second, third and fourth week........six work days and then Sabbath day. Genesis 1:14 is a commandment from God. God commanded us to let the lights in heaven be for days, years, etc. We are to use the sun, moon and stars to calculate our days, years, signs, seasons, Sabbaths, etc., not the Gregorian calendar or any other man-made time. The Sabbath commandment is one of the Ten commandments listed in Exodus 20 and It is just as important as the other nine commandments. It is to be kept! God has three category of days in the Bible, the new moon day, the six work days and the Sabbath day. God’s months start with the new moon day, which is the first day of the month. The Gregorian calendar do not start its months with the new moon day. The new moon day falls anywhere and everywhere on the Gregorian calendar. Sometimes, on the famous Gregorian calendar, the new moon day falls on the “Gregorian Seventh day Saturday Sabbath.” How can it both be the first day of the month and the seventh day Sabbath? This along should help a person to see that the Gregorian calendar is not true time and that the Biblical Sabbath should not be calculated by it. The Sabbath is a sign between God and His people Israel and whosoever join themselves to them. One law is to Israel and to the stranger. Exodus 12:48,49 Also, research the "Seven Noahide Laws" and Education Day U.S.A. Do the “Seven Noahide Laws” From my research online, these laws are Jewish laws taken from their writings, namely the Talmud. The first law in “The seven Noahide laws" forbids the worship of idols. According to Jewish writings, the worship of Jesus, Yahushua, etc........is idolatry and is punishable by death, decapitation. Will these laws be enforced on all nations??? Research the connection between the United Nations, The Presidents, President Bush, President Trump, etc. and “The Seven Noahide laws" THESE "SEVEN NOAHIDE LAWS". SEEMS TO BE VERY DANGEROUS TO CHRISTIANS AND TO ALL MANKIND!! Lastly, there is much talk online that the Jewish people occupying the land of Israel today are not the true Israelites and that the true Israelites are today now scattered throughout the nations, is this true? There are also other groups of people who say that they are the true Jews. Jesus said in Revelation 2:9 & 3:9 that someone is saying that they are Jews but are not but are the synagogue of Satan. If Jesus warns us about a synagogue of Satan in Revelation 2:9 & 3:9, should not we be concern? If the people residing in the land of Israel not true Israel, then who are they and what is their agenda for the world? Who are the true Bloodline Jews? HAVE A GOOD DAY FRIENDS OF GOD..........GLORY TO THE FATHER AND SON!
