Thanks Dr. Bigenho. This was definitely a useful video as I too believe I suffered a Grade 1 Retrolisthesis to my lower back (L4 and L5) from yes jiu jitsu. That plus lingering neck and shoulder pain…at 45 years of age at the time - I quit. I agree to get better one must stay away from movements that can aggravate but its unfortunate this patient’s livelihood is dependent upon the success of his BJJ gym. Great video and thank you.

The patient acts like he knows more than he does. He tries to use terms and anatomical phrases, but uses them incorrectly. Kudos to the doctor by going by what he feels rather than what the patient tells him.

Ive watched you 1 or 2 x a day, th past 3 days. I really like everything about your approach. Soon to be 70yo (Nov '24. Yes, im looking forward..) I have very few regrets. Thanks b2 God. For a minute, I was a CA, Patient care mgr and marketing mgr for a fabulously talented chiropractor. If i had it to do over, i think id be a DC or Acupuncturist. Im honored to watch you 'practice th thing you love'. Be well. Be strong and carry on. 😉👍 Namaste 🙏

Once you get radiating pain and numbness down your legs or arms with weakness. No PT or chiropractor can fix it. You need surgery at this point, unfortunately. This is coming from a PT of 23 years. I am nearly seven months post op of a L4 -L5 TLIF with microdisectomy. I had spondylithesis L4 over L5 and severe narrowing spinal canal. I also had scar tissue left facet joint and a large abscess on the right facet joint. My surgeon didn’t know I had a disk issue until he saw it in surgery because it didn’t show up on my MRIs. It was a two and a half hour procedure.

This isn’t true at all. I’ve had back and hip problems over 20 years with extreme sciatica to the point I could walk one minute and had to sit for five. I couldn’t get up out of a chair or sofa without turning around and pushing myself up with my arms. I was treated by a pain doctor. He suggested a chiropractor he knows and the chiropractor suggested a PT. I saw them all for about 3 months and I’ve been pain free for over 2 years. I still do my own PT and feel great and I’m 58. I also changed my diet by cutting all carbs and 99% of vegetables due to their toxicity. I literally haven’t felt this good in 30 years.

I’m 21 years old and have had sciatica down to my ankle for 3 years. I’m a student athlete, so I’m still very active and in the gym a lot, but when I drive two to go home my leg throbs and my foot goes numb. I go to chiro weekly, it’s helps but doesn’t take it away completely. Helpp

Same manipulation for every condition? 😂 chiropractic’s is laughable however if someone gets some temporary relief well more power to them. There is no way in hell I would let someone use the Ystrap or perform a high thrust manipulation on my neck ! If you have cervical stenosis and don’t know that’s a spinal cord disaster waiting to happen 😊
