@momatotsosrorudodi3 жыл бұрын
I recommend using one of those S-shaped massage sticks. You need to be able to relax the muscle. And that's hard if you tense up from the pain. You can train your pain tolerance so that you're able to relax even when it's brutal deep tissue massage. It may take months of regular self massage, but it's well worth doing. Once you're able to tolerate more of that kind of specific pain(different tissues have different pain tolerances) you could get more out a professional massage, as you're able to stay relaxed. If the massage is so hard you can't relax it's far less effective. When you massage yourself just be conscious of keeping the muscle relaxed and not flexed and you'll be able to find the right amount of pressure to apply without tensing up.

And this is what being treated like a patient with individual problems is like. Looking over the comments, it seems like many others have used the same Chiros as I have. The type that do the same set of adjustments, doesn't really matter what is wrong. To back this up, I have a friend who goes to Life University (Chiro College) and has told me that there is a set of adjustments that are "go tos". I believe these are the chiros who charge less, but also only work on you for about 10 minutes or less. You are made to be a returning customer forever. A legit chiro (Like Dr Brenda here), is what you want to find. Be sure to see who really wants to help you.

I fell when i was 8 and injured my lower back really bad. I had bounced from chiropractor to chiropractor for years, then i found the one for me. In three one hour sections i was finally pain free. I thought i would have to live with the back pain for the rest of my life. The funny part is that the chiropractors i went to where male and the miracle worker was a female. When you find the chiropractor that is right for you, you will feel free. It has been almost 8yrs and i just now starting to feel tightness and a bit of pain back in my lower back and honesty its my own fault cuz i know my posture is poor. Side note: at the time of my getting sections i didn't stop going of my own choosing, my insurance changed and she wasn't accepting what i had at the time but was in the process of trying too, then i moved and lost contact with her. Ill definitely be looking her up tomorrow and hoping covid didn't affect her being a small business owner.

Go see a real doctor. Chiropractors are temporary fixes to permanent problems... They will 'adjust you' and forget to tell you to go exercise to make sure the muscles and bones are used to the new positions so you can then have more and more problems thus causing you to go back to them. They are by no means a doctor and if you need help with pain go see either a Spinal Doctor or a muscle doctor. Hell even a massage therapist will do more than any chiropractor could dream of without charging hundreds of dollars

They give you a couple of cracks on your neck, They push on each side of your shoulder where the blade area is and you get a crack. And maybe they will put you on your side and have you lift up your leg egg and crack your back that you always do there at the very ending that's about it. They explain a couple of things to you but then they never really seemed to fix it the way you do. I'm glad you were able to help her miss Brenda you are wonderful they need million more chiropractors like you that can do all the things you do one for each state

I've given up on my back at this point. Every time I see a chiro or massage therapist they can't believe the knots in my back. My back causes migraines and no can fix it. If I was still in FL I would totally give her a try.

Man I really wish I could get treated by her, all her customers look so satisfied and relaxed. my lower back just keeps getting more and more unbearable everyday. i blame myself though, i have bad posture which i think is the main cause but UGH i just want it gone
@anilaturina3 жыл бұрын
if you really want it gone then do something about it - and not tomorrow, start today! change your posture, start doing yoga or stretching, work out and gain some muscles (that also helps a lot for better posture) and most important when you work at a desk remember to get up regularly, staying in one position for too long is extremely unhealthy for the body and i knoooow it's a lot of effort but just 15 minutes of stretching per day can completely change your life and it's absolutely worth it, speaking from experience :)

@@anilaturina lol ive been trying to do some things for a while now, i do hope they work. thanks for the advice!
@leylines2223 жыл бұрын
there are posture bands/correctors you can buy for quite cheap to wear in the beginning if your posture is really that bad, i’ve found they help a lot since my biggest problem was just forgetting to straighten my back and hunching subconsciously
@anilaturina3 жыл бұрын
@@69cheesyfries hey, that's awesome! getting started is the hardest part so congratulations ;D just try to be consistent from now on that's by far the most important thing... you don't have to do super long workouts every day just try to stick to a schedule and don't drop it for 1 or 2 weeks... i don't know where you live and if that's a possibility but seeing a physiotherapist for example could help you with getting tips on which exercises you should concentrate on, if that's not a possibility then there are a lot of guides and videos on the internet that try to explain everything and which exercises might be best for you... it's a lot at the beginning but the more you get into it the easier it gets and who knows maybe at some point you will have fun finding out about new exercises etc. - at least that was the case for me haha

Is a chiropractor needed only when there's pain involved?
@tren-d41163 жыл бұрын
Not always, sometimes it's not pain, it's an uncomfortable feeling. Just my opinion though 🤷🏻♀️

I think pain, discomfort and restricted movement are all acceptable reasons for a chiropractic visit.

does one need a chiropractor if they think their shoulders are lopsided? Like they aren't symmetrical? Or is that something that's just based on one's anatomy?💀

I love watching these videos! It's always been my dream to become a chiropractor. I'm a beautician and pedicure but my speciality is massaging and love doing that, but I've always wanted to become a chiropractor, unfortunately the requirements in our country for the education with me being a mom makes it nearly impossible to become one, to bad!
