It’s taken Sunburn a decade to realise these pain points which I have been pointing out for over a decade. My company used to be associated with Sunburn as an official ticketing partner for multiple cities for nearly a decade before we ended the association. The reason we ended it was both economical (with the advent of online ticketing, the demand for on ground ticket sales declined) and motivational (the tickets sold for any event through our company was representative of our endorsement of the event. The issues associated with sunburn events would make us lose face and clients. That’s something we cannot afford in an industry where the market size is limited and connected).

I’ve been attending sunburn arena shows since 2018 and For drug thing, in 2018 martin concert in mumbai I have seen lot of young age boys and even girls taking weed and what not. Same in 2019. But after covid I have seen positive change in terms of safety as strict checks not allow anyone to bring inside concert. So big thumbs up.

There’s no need to mislead the audience into believing people don’t do drugs at these events. While I get the motivation behind denying this is optics, it’s not like the event organisers can control what every single person is doing, especially before entering the event premises. The authorities too need to deal with the issue with the event organisers instead of blaming the event and its organisers for promoting drugs.

Sunburn Pune New years eve was the time we were shaken by the molestation of our friend to the point we didn't go back ever. we never missed a season till then.. there is no one to ask for help and the police asked US to grab that person in the crowd! horrible!

dude i have attended 3 sunburn areana in goa and lol fcuk no drugs in sunburn dude i hv litreally seen peddlers just outside the area looking for young audience and inside i hv witnessed atleast 2 overdoses so pls dont say tht there are no drugs just to save your face its critical to address this issue which your super aware of
