for anyone who is oily or even just acne prone, i would say go for the nyx one. i looked up the ingredients for it and it doesn't have any that'll clog your pores. :)

ALSO if you are oily and acne prone, dont go for the fit me foundation stick. the main ingredient is "ethylhexyl palmitate" which clogs my pores and breaks me outtttt. :(

bean xo That is true!!! And I understand how you feel. I used to have pretty bad acne, but thankfully I managed to get rid of it using a mint clay mask. Every now and then I get a few pimples, but my skin is nothing like it used to be.Try using mint masks to clear out your acne, but if you aren't able to get rid of it due to dumb genetics. Remember that confidence is your greatest weapon, and if you feel beautiful then no one has the right to say you aren't!! Most of us have skin issues (Acne, redness, scars, spots, severe dryness, etc) but we cant let insecurities run our lives! And just so you know, I believe you are beautiful!!

I have been using the Maybelline Fit Me stick in Toffee for an affordable cream contour for a few years now. Preach on the shade selection girl! I have warm yellow/orange toned skin (NC45-NC50) and I am always either the darkest shade in drugstore makeup, or my shade does not exist. If there is anything drugstore makeup NEEDS to do if it wants to compete with higher end prosucts, it's to expand their shade selections.

The reason why most stick foundations don't work with beautyblenders is simple if you think about it. Most stick foundations are either oil or silicone based, not water. What happens when you dry and mix a damp beauty blender with an oil or silicone based product... it doesn't work! ;)

Surprisingly, the least expensive makeup & skin care beand, E.L.F., is turning out to be quite impressive. I am a former client representative/makeup artist for the high-end brand that begins with "L". For years, all I wore was this product's skin care & makeup lines. I must say, some drug store brands are nice "dupes" for the high ends & I'm finding E.L.F. to be a sweet alternative for teens and/or others who don't want to spend a bundle to look good.
