I put Palmer's Coconut Oil in my hair after I wash and dry it - I put just a little on my hands, dab most of it off, and then run it through my dry hair - it makes it shiny and my hair feels more hydrated.

Thank God you made it through. That must’ve been unbearably hard. I hope Christians really reached out, supported you, & if not, then maybe it’s your calling to speak at churches & tell everyone what help you needed, & organize groups to be on the ground help. I’ve taken care of sick family members & have been bed bound for a few years so I know how hard it can be on both sides. Of course, even if we are hanging on by a thread, most of us won’t ever ask for help & will actually turn it down when offered. Most of the things we need in those times are laundry, cleaning the house, sitting with the sick family member so we can run some errands, or just take a walk or a bath, & we think it’s rude to ask for those things, that we should pay someone for those services, but of course, with medical bills & lost income, when we need it most, is when we can least afford it. If you don’t think this is what you’re called to do, please pass the idea on to someone else who might be called. 💒

I really like the John Frieda secret weapon touch-up cream. Whether I wear my hair naturally wavy, curl it or straighten it, I just rub a small amount between my hands and lightly run it over my hair to calm any frizz and control it a bit. Less of a chance of user error than an oil which you can easily use too much. It also has avocado oil in it. My daughter has really coarse and curly hair and she also uses it

I'm sorry that you and the kids were sick and by yourselves. I remember that feeling. Glad that you are on the mend. Eva NYC has some of the best hair products and they smell amazing. I use the 10 in 1 Primer and I have baby fine hair. I must try the Kristen Ess Texture spray. Her products also smell incredible. A big yes to the Eva NYC dry shampoo. You are so right. There's no need to spend big bucks on high end dry shampoo. Thanks, Taylor. Enjoy your weekend. ❤❤

I have always used salon shampoo, all my adult life….Matrix Biolage, Paul Mitchell, Redkin etc. I kept telling myself I need to start looking for ways around the house, and my lifestyle, to saving some money. A couple weeks ago I was in Walmart and this Loreal shampoo caught my attention. I decided to buy it. Well, let me tell you, this shampoo n conditioner works just as well as salon shampoo! I’m not kidding ya. They are Loreal Elvive in the big, bright neon orange, pump bottles, with a dark orange pump on the top. They are the Dream Lengths line, Restorative shampoo, and detangle conditioner. Oh my gawd, I wash shocked at how well these worked, how incredibly soft, and manageable my long hair was after I used it. I won’t be going back to expensive salon products anymore. Loreal nailed it with this new line

I love this video. I literally stopped it midway to put on some hair oil because I tend to forget about adding that to my routine. About 5 years ago I learned that my thick wavy and frizzy hair actually was beautiful curly hair that just needed some TLC. I wear it curly now about 95% of the time. These are great suggestions. ❤

Those interested in the Kristin Ess products (at least a few of them) I'd suggest buying the travel sizes. I agree with Taylor on the clarifying product. It's good but be prepared for your hair texture to feel like you don't want to use it again, lol. As for the WTS? I'm glad I was able to find that one in a travel size because it didn't give me any volume whatsoever. So far I've been able to find the shampoo, conditioner, the WTS and the hair spray in travel sizes. I have to switch between 2 brands because my hair gets use to them. I switch between Whole Blends and L'Oreal Elvive. Both do different things to my hair which is crazy. When I use WB's it gives my now thinning hair so much volume. When I use L'Oreal's it makes my hair sleek. Both of these brands do this to my hair without the use of any styling tool. I don't know if you ever got the chance to try a brand called Ojon Taylor? They made thee BEST dry shampoo I've ever tried or read about. Before it was reformulated due to the owners selling the Co that stuff was like magic. It not only took the grease out it took any and all hair products out. Their main selling point/guarantee was if you put cooking oil in your hair it would take it out. I bought a can ($20) and put that claim to the test, lol. They weren't lying and I was blown away!! I'm currently using Batiste. While it does remove the grease in my scalp and gives my hair a lot of volume unfortunately it doesn't remove the other hair care products I use. This was a great video. Sending it to my playlist, lol. Feel better Taylor... 💜

Only when you feel like your hair is getting to oily too quickly or that there's a lot of product buildup! I have really thick hair so it's a problem for me but you may not need it if you aren't having issues!
