Awesome video!!! Going to make sure my 13 year old sees this! She is just starting with make up and far she is only allowed powder, mascara, blush and lip gloss. I really love this more natural look on you! I agree with a couple of the comments that say your usual 'filming face' can look a little too much, you are so naturally beautiful you don't need to pile on the products! I love your videos. You seem to be having so much fun and that's what makeup should be. Your makeup looks beautiful and I like that you describe the products. It's nice to know the textures and how much pigmentation a product contains. I've taken several makeup artist courses, but there are always new products and it's nice to be able to get a description of some of those. Some KZbin videos are so boring to get through so I totally appreciate how fun you make it. Have a great day.

I just love the fact you actually use Essence products. I never see any big youtuber using them and in fact Essence has some pretty good and inexpensive products. I am glad you started to use them :D Get well soon. :)

omg, i agree with you so much about the matte foundation thing! when i was 11 or 12 i was desperate to use maybelline's dream matte mousse like everyone else, when i had such good skin & i didn't need foundation till i was 15/16 ish anyway. and i was definitely guilty of the brow over plucking... oops. i never filled in my brows or did anything to them, and my mascara was awful!! really wish i'd known more about makeup back then and wouldn't have tried to do things that i couldn't do, but hey, i guess it's a mistake you have to make. only in the last 6months-1year have i actually started having a full routine where i do a full face (mainly bc i enjoy doing it - not because i need to as i know i like ok with just a little bit of concealer)! these kind of videos by youtubers always make me smile :)

Omg i totally understand the eyebrow situation. I never got my eyebrows waxed or tamed until senior year of high school and that made a world of a difference. Mine where thick and had no shape. I cringe every time i look back at pictures. The first time i got them wax it hurt so much! And i was so embarrassed because since i tan easily once they were shrunk down the top and bottom of my eyebrows were pale!!!! You could see where the tan started. Ahhhhhhh Though now that i think about it ........i just had a natural highlighted eyebrows. Lol

I don't really know how to use the maybelline color tattoo cream eye shadow. I heard a lot of youtubers rave about it; that why i got one myself, but it is so hard to use. The color is uneven on my lid. Btw, i usually use powder eye shadow with brush. xoxo

It always looks uneven on me too so i put a powder eyeshadow in a similar colour over the top and it looks much more even x

make sure you're putting a primer on underneath and set it with your face powder and dont use a brush! i use my fingers and then blend the edges out with my clean finger

use fingers to put a small amount on the lid, then blend up into the crease with a clean finger! then dab more onto the lid for more intense colour x

Yup definitely works best when applied with your finger. I apply all more the lid slightly up to the crease then use a very dense crease brush (real techniques deluxe crease brush) to blend the edges.

Does anyone know why Max Factor is Covergirl in the US? Also, brands like Maybelline and L'Oreal, which you can get in both Europe and America, have products with different names on either side of the pond. Colour tattoo 'on and on Bronze' is 'bad to the bronze' in the US.

They were originally different brands but one bought the other, can't remember which! Also I think that the American side sources products different so that's why some products aren't available in the uk.

the difference in names is really weird, i once bought a L'oreal infallible eyeshadow in the same colour twice because of that, haha. however, I did not notice anything different in the ingredients or product. my guess is that, since the same product is manufactured in different countries, and different countries have slightly different advertisement (due to different target audiences), hence the use of difference shade names.
