As a spoonie who's obviously into skincare, please don't beat yourself up because you're using makeup wipes. You're doing your best with the energy you have, and that is enough even though you feel like it's not. I promise you it is. Don't forget that you have a ton of people in your corner, and we are rooting for you.

Discovering your channel changed my life. And that's no exaggeration, because it has changed my skincare routine, improved my skin, and therefore my everyday life has also improved because I no longer do unnecessary masks and steam baths, no more blackheads that I have to squeeze out, no more problems with oily skin ..... My skin is so nice now. It literally changed my life to the better.

I look up to you so much more seeing how real you are being with your followers. I first started watching you in 2019 right before COVID, and I was sooo good about my skincare. Recently, I’ve been going through a lot personally as well and found it hard to do skincare and take care of myself. Knowing that we are doing our best, even when it’s using a makeup wipe, or ONLY using 1 or 2 products instead of an entire 10 step routine, is what’s important. Much love, Cass!

I’m so sorry you’re going through a really rough time. I hope we can heal together and I’m so happy we have skincare to bond us as acne cys-ters over the last 15 years. So I really feel this. I appreciate you doing these videos, with raw true facts about yourself. It's not easy to tell the world you're depressed. I think it's sad that you felt the need to say "at least I slept" because you knew people were going to come at you. It's horrible this is the world we live in. Clinical depression drained me of all of my energy. Really, going to the bathroom was a chore. I just didn't feel like getting up. But also, having no energy and being so tired somehow goes away when it's time to go to sleep. The brain does not want to turn off at bedtime... Or turn on during the day. Being depressed and trying to sleep is truly it's own type of heck. With depression, being alone with your own thoughts is the absolute worst. Like truly, on another level of torture! So is being completely depleted of energy but also not being able to sleep. So IDK if you've experienced any of this, I would guess you have though.. because somehow depression symptoms tend to be similar for everyone. It's literally a chemical imbalance in your brain. So medicine that can supply those missing chemicals do help. IDK if you take medicine or believe in it because I've legit seen like one other video of yours before this one. The problem with medicine to help depression is the journey to find which medicines actually will help. It also takes over a month with each medicine to even see if it works or not. I highly recommend you do the gene sight testing. It doesn't work perfectly but it does help narrowing down a neverending list of antidepressants. Which probably is the worst thing to hear when you're depressed. I'm sorry, truly I am! It does get better though. It's a journey, and it's legit the worst feeling in the world (grief as well). I'm not like a psychiatrist or anything, not even a therapist. But like so many people I have been depressed. I still struggle with it. I think that people are so mean because we as humans tend to forget the negative ways we felt? Like someone who has gone through depression simply telling you something stupid like "you think your depression is bad.. you don't even know", "keep your head up girl", or the ever popular "you need to go in the sun and you'll feel better". Like wtf? Ffff no. Being depressed makes you not ever care about what the sun is doing. Taking a shower or brushing your teeth is a chore. But my point is that even if they've been through it, they really don't remember what it felt like for the most part, because they're not currently feeling it. People also tend to do this with someone else being sick. Just be like "oh that sucks"... But if they are sick it's the end of the world and they're wondering why you don't care more or do more for them. It's really insane how it works with the majority of people. I'm guilty too though lol, I've broken up with someone who was horrible for me... Only to find myself wanting them back weeks later, until I went back and then remembered instantly all of the reasons I had no business going back. Ive also seen it happen alot with addiction problems. Someone gets clean and stays clean and rebuilds their life. As soon as someone offers them that substance they start thinking that they can go take it an be fine. What's the worst that can happen? Only to remind themselves as soon as they loose the feeling they got from the substance. They thought they could do it once and be fine.. they forgot that was how the addiction started in the first place. Okay so so sorry for the book, I just really want you to know that you're not alone in this. I also know how much effort and energy that you had to create out of nothing to make this video, or go to CVS and target, and to do your makeup. Your effort is admirable. That's why Im taking the time to write you this novel, that you may not even have the time to read lol. But thank you for the brutal honestly about mental health. I do like that you're not trying to sugar coat your life like so so many other people on KZbin or tiktok, social media in general. I really hope you find the balance of life that works for you to help cure your depression. Just remember, when you do beat this, you deserve every single second of peace and happiness that comes from getting to the other side of this hell hole of a brain ffff that makes your own mind attack you. You're already super strong for being able to post these videos or even get out of bed at noon. But you will be stronger when you finally see the other side, where the literal greenest grass is. Have a great day. Again, so sorry about the book lol I have ADHD (if you can't tell), so my thoughts were just flowing and I felt the need to share with you. ❤️

Costs about 25 bucks on Amazon but has been one of the best things I've found for my extremely itchy sun damaged skin (never got sunburned but I had a 3 month outdoor project this past summer). Fav sunscreen as someone who hates wearing sunscreen is the paulas choice non-greasy sunscreen. I can wear it on my face and anywhere else and not feel gross.

I like the Glow and Clarity Tonics. I definitely recommend the "blue one" next time you're in the mood for an exfoliating toner. My favorite way to use miceller water is for my AM cleanse. I use it through my T-zone and follow with a rinse. It's quick, gentle and more thorough than a rinse alone.

The blue version of those orange capsules (hyaluronic acid based instead of vitamin C...) has actually been super helpful in wound healing for me! Long story, but i have two feeding tubes that started leaking cause of weight loss... leaking feeding tube= acid leaking = acid burns... like 2nd and 3rd degree burns. And those capsules have helped heal the 2nd degree burns with traditional meds (silvadine) have been so fricken helpful with keeping the wound hydrated but not seeping! I was too terrified to try any of the other types though like vitamin C or ones with actives. Ive also tried other skin care of no names (like right before YT algorithm led me to you during pandemic. . . Bless the algorithm. Really. Bless it for bringing me to you) and it destroyed my skin.. it was supposedly niacinamide. Nopeeeeeee. Dont think there was an ounce of it in it! Also, CosRX has TJ Maxx and co.. as a listed approved manufacturer and has been great to find the trending products when no one else had them!

I just discovered your channel a few days ago and been binging your content. Really enjoyed your bubbly personality (something completely different than mine and most times can't stand but found yours contagious) From a total stranger that also has their own mental health demons I wanna say thank you and that you're doing great! Seems like you have created quite a nice lil community in the internet and that's not easy to do! Sending love, and remember to be beautiful inside and out? Eh you see what I did there. I'll walk myself out lol

Acnemy is owned by Niche Beauty Lab, who also owns Theramid (and I love their products). Alex from Educated Mess (cosmetic chemist) made a video on Theramid and likes their formulas too. If Theramid is anything to go by, Acnemy should be great!

Hey Cassandra, I have been where you are. I understand what are going through. I just wanted to let you know that I am so grateful for your videos because you have helped me so much. I was never taught about skin care or how to take care of my skin but finding your channel I feel that at the age of 38 I am more confident about my skincare routine. Stay healthy we are all here for you!,❤

If ur not brushing ur hair, it will look like clumps are coming out. Ppl naturally shed a bunch of hairs a day. But if ur not brushing they get tangled with intact hairs and when u pull like that it releases them all together and makes it looks like ur loosing a lot.

I found Haruharu and Beauty of Joseon at TJM & Marshall’s recently (Atlanta area). There’s another Korean brand called DearBoo that my skin LOVES. They used to have a Cica Centella line that is fantastic, especially after shaving. But now they have 3 lines with similar packaging that comes in 3 flavors: firming (peptide & collagen), brightening (vita C & Hyaluronic) and rejuvenating (retinol & hyaluronic).

When I first went to New York in 2003, more than the premium sores, I was desperate to go to Sephora, CVS and Duane Reade. We just had nothing like them in the U.K.. Big hugs to you. I hope the world brightens up for you soon xxx

I understand having a hard time getting out of bed. Some days I would drag myself out of bed to take a hot bath, apply a nice fragrant lotion, then put on clean cozy pajamas. Sitting in a bathtub doesn’t take a lot of effort and it’s transformative enough to get you through the rest of the day.

Hey Cassandra, I dealt with hair loss aswell and things that have helped me is hair oiling for couple hours and definitely not leaving it on overnight, scalp sitmulation and I also use my solawave red light device on my eyebrows and hair line and would recommend. As for the oil I put almond, jojoba, castor and rosemary. Hope this helps

I have found red light therapy had a nice side effect, it improved the mood and the emotional crisis I had been going thru that was inexplicable to me. Just wearing a cheap three light led mask that is just a like a shield worn for covid protection, cost 25 bucks and I found not only my skin improved, ie: my eyelids were visible again, (I'm in my mid 60's now) and I also noticed the funk I was in was getting less so and I am now much better and I believe it was because of the red light and that I was walking in the sunrise and sunset hours which also helped improve my mood, energy and sleep. Turns out, those times of day are vital to all of the above including just doing a bit of exercise like lifting a water bottle, can improve muscle tone. Who knew? Try it. It really helps.
