I need that Lego T-Rex!! Also I ordered some of that resin because I've had issues with colors not staying separated. Hopefully it works better!

When you talked about the D20 being the one with the "biggest" problem when demolding, I thought if it would help, to put it in a place where the mold is more flexibel and the ones with the best ratio between opening and die size, like the d6 and the d4 at the ends. Or is there a reason why you put it where it is, that I am not aware of?
@DruidDice3 жыл бұрын
It's not the die itself but the edge, a d6 there would help and is not a bad idea at all. But then it would be out of order and I would go insane 😂

Just bought one! Once my masters come in, can't wait to get started on casting some more. My initial cap molds were made with PVC pipes and just...such a mess. As I get into this hobby, I'm learning that it's better to invest in the good stuff to save you money and heartache down the line.

Just started casting dice, and you are one of my inspiration. Can I ask you a question? Everytime I use glitter on my resin it ends up with all the glitter on the bottom. What can I do to fix it?

Hello Druid Dices, the video is amazing and we love the results. We would like to try this but living in Italy we don't know what materials to buy, since of course the products you mention cannot be found here. Do you have any experience with customers overseas? would you be able to help us chose the right resins and inks for the production ?

I am wondering, the housing that you use for the mold, is that a 3d printed housing, and do you guys sell the STL file for it if that is the case?

I’m so glad I just got my mold! Do you have any videos that go into detail on basics for actual dice making? All my colors sink to the bottom

Hiya, I know this is an old video so I am not sure if you'll see this question, but how did you get the glitter to not sink to the bottom? I find mine just sinks to the bottom whenever I try to make dice
@DruidDice2 жыл бұрын
You'll need to wait until your pot life is toward the end to ensure good suspension. Some resins with extremely long work time won't ever have good suspension unfortunately.

pressure pots help keep your stuff bubble free, I got one and best decision I have ever made

Bought one last week! Just curious - what silicone are you using for the molds?
@DruidDice3 жыл бұрын
For our mold we use MoldStar 20T or the sorta clear series

Hey there, been starting to make dice as well. Just curious, what sort of longevity do you have with your molds using liquidy split? I've heard faster curing resins take their toll quicker on molds.

It's all about the heat, i have not noticed any change vs KS normal 24 art resin. i get 20-30 molds pulls before any big issues.

Hey I just bought some masters online and gonna try and make my own molds but was looking at yours on your store also your compartment pour cups what a good idea ! But how come the delivery is £60 ? It means my order for 2 things would be £200 and I can’t justify that :(.
@DruidDice3 жыл бұрын
etsy is notoriously dumb when it comes to shipping for international orders if it's multiple items. If you shoot me a message I can get you a custom order with reasonable shipping!!

@@DruidDice awesome I’ll see how badly I mess up this mold I attempt but I think I’ll want another mold anyways. I don’t use Etsy so wasn’t sure if I was just breaking it or something haha. Thanks ! X

Do you need a pressure pot to use this mold?
@DruidDice3 жыл бұрын
A pressure pot is not required by any means. it is true you'll get better clear castings from any dice mold using a pressure pot. That said if you fill/pour/stir carefully to not introduce excess bubbles you can then use a flame or heat gun/hair dryer to pop surface bubbles.

If the ends are the hardest to remove, and the D20s are the hardest to remove, why not just put them ANYWHERE ELSE but the edge??
@DruidDice2 жыл бұрын
Oh these are very outdated molds. We've moved to circular ones only this style is from about 3 years ago!
