Good observation. I base some of my fantasy rules loosly on D&D and some on mythos I find interesting. For this one I mostly stuck to D&D. His wild shaping is used to turn into only animals, and he's also used both uses per long rest as he turned into a cat to not slam into the floor, and started scene as a capybara. As for arcane solutions, he's not the type to prepare restoration spells.
