My name is Lynn and I play the drums in a Pink Floyd Tribute Band called Eclipse-Chicago. The 50th Anniversary of The Dark Side of the Moon inspired me to record a couple of solo videos to capture my time as a drummer. This is "Time" by Pink Floyd. Recorded at The Jam Lab. Hope you enjoy! As a guitar player, I never noticed that there's no high hat (or ride) during parts of the song. Thinking back now, it's obvious, but I didn't think about it until I saw you play it.

Yes, a lot of drummers play the ride or hi hat during those parts. I prefer to keep those spaces open, but think either way is fine. Time is one of my all-time favorite songs.
