Wow that was beautiful. If anyone gives you grief about saying shamanism, remind them that Europe and Britain had shamans thousands of years ago.

Thanks so much for creating these videos. I just got my shamanic drum and am itching to start experimenting with the beats, and it's so nice to have this guidance and basic instructions in order to have an idea where to start. Sorry someone seemed to have issues with the term "Shamanic" - I wouldn't worry about it, if that's what they got hung up in from your videos, then they were probably not here to learn drumming at all. Anyway - thanks so much for taking time to make these videos, I'm already feeling much more confident with this drum than I did a couple of days ago :)

I've just begun getting into shamanic drumming, and your videos have really helped and reinforced my understanding of it. I've heard the combinations of others playing of the 2 & 3 beat rhythms, but there were no explanations of this like you've done here and its really helped my understanding. Thank you, subbed! Very talented percussionist! 🙂👏👏👏

Wonderful lessons and information, Keep at it and thank you for taking the time to make your videos. Sorry to hear that some idiots/trolls had problems with your use of the word "Shamanic". Ignore them, you're doing more for the enjoyment, mental health and happiness that sound, vibration, and rhythm offers people than those "Wannabe, know it all's" will ever do. Do your thing, use the words you wish to express your points and keep bringing happiness. Your awesome Kiddo.

I agree with these views and am relieved to know others feel as I do. You're an inspiration and you explain everything with such ease and that's what encourages people to learn and broaden their cultural knowledge. Please continue to share your thoughts and remember that what others say and do, whether positive or negative, is only a reflection of their mindset. You've been much more respectful than those who reproached you. Thanks for everything you're doing here 🙏💗

@MargaretHarmer4 жыл бұрын
Hi Alina! Try accentuating the pulse with different subdivisions. The most common are making an accent every 2, 3 or 4 beats. But the idea here is to have fun with these.
