I'm curious about how you used the stereo 57's? What did you look for in them in terms of the source and then the processing? (if you dont mind sharing). Killer tone!

Thanks so much 🙏 the sound you’re hearing is the 57s and the mono room together. For the source I like to try get a bigger sound out my room by facing the mics away from the drums. This gives me a more ambient sound with softer transients. For processing I used compression and distortion to bring out the length of the drums and tamed harshness with EQ.
