Thanks so much for the kind review and words, Andrew. Great channel you have here, I've subscribed :) And, you actually did a pretty good job of pronouncing my last name! Haha. Also, thanks to all of you who follow me and who commented and enjoyed this video. I'm very grateful for all of your support. Keep drumming and have a great day!

I still can´t believe Devin Townsend let this man go, there are millions of drummers out there, some way far better than others in some features, but there are some drummers (or musicians in general for that matter) that are "signature" and have a definite sense of "belonging", that things are noticeable not the same when they are not around, the whole sound changes, the whole path detours. Drummers like Jukka Nevalainen on Nightwish, Josh Eppard on Coheed & Cambria, Dave Abbruzzese on Pearl Jam or Nicholas Barker in... well, in every band he has been in, specially Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir. Ryan Van Poederooyen is one of those musicians, one of those people that you just can´t replace and expect the same results, but life and music go on... My total respect for this man.

Ryan is such a powerful consistent drummer. A great guy to boot. Had the pleasure of supporting dev a few times and seeing Ryan do his thing close up. He's stated ( coz I asked him) that this is the song he would recommend to people as an introduction to his drumming. Hope to see more of him on the channel

The Ocean Machine Version is muuuuuuch bigger. It's incredibly mixed (even though Devin says he screwed up the mix), there's an orchestra there, please check it out. And if you feel like it, please take "By your command" from the Ocean Machine set as one of your next picks. It's also played by RVP and he deserves a medal for it. It's incredible, truly. :)

Yeah, in general stay away from RAH. Plovdiv so far seems safe enough. Even better... The mix puts RVP really out there, which should be good for the drum lovers.

I believe the blocking is less of a Devin issue; more of an InsideOut/SMI preference. So his official videos, concerts, etc uploaded by InsideOut will probably be a problem without modifications, but videos from other uploaders should be okay.

Rather than try to pronounce his name, just do what everybody else does and call him RVP!! Also, I'm surprised you've had problems with DTP vids being blocked... Devin usually has a "relaxed" attitude to people showing his vids. Elizabeth from "The Charismatic Voice" features him regularly (and has even interviewed him), and he seemed very happy for her to continue reacting to DTP.
