Jason doing a great job keeping his dad's legacy alive. Glad to say he's a local lad too. I'm also from Dudley. Great to see him featured on the channel

I saw Jason Bonham live 3 times. I saw this tribute he does with his father on the screen behind him at those shows and it always struck me as very emotional and sad as I am watching a guy publicly express through music that he is missing and grieving for his father. Suffice it to say, Jason killed it all three times. I actually got to meet him at the third show. Great guy!

That was an amazing tribute to his dad! Thank you Andy!!! So fun to watch them side by side!! Best way to describe Bonzo, just like they are called the Bonham triplets, is how musical he is with his playing. He brings out emotions in his playing, stirs the primal, the tribal, the innocence and passion of youth, dancing and daydreaming, to a Meg Ryan orgasm, which you so aptly illustrated! Lol! Some of his best work is the studio albums, but the true gems are his live playing, some amazing Led Zep bootlegs out there that shows how musical he was in his playing, much like the best jazz drummers..his improvisations are a joy to listen to.

@@AndrewRooneyDrums Full disclosure my wife and I are huge fans of Led Zeppelin, our sons middle name is Bonham. We brought an expired passport of his to the show for Jason to sign; he was blown away and showed to the whole band! He then signed two drum skins for us for our son who is currently learning how to play drums!

@@AndrewRooneyDrums 100%. He’s done a great job of making a career for himself as a drummer in the shadow of his dad. I have a stronger emotional reaction to John Bonham than almost any other drummer - he was just so musical. Have you done a reaction to a live Ian Paice doing Space Trucking with the huge solos? Shit song, great instrumentals. Enjoying your vids Andrew!

Yes triplets were used alot in big bands and jazz but BONHAM brought into Rock with Good times bad times the first album was the wow moment for drummers and the way he was doing them was not done in Rock so the BONHAM triplets were born.
