Sina is THE best! I think she is much more influential than she knows. I literally listen to music in a different way now. First off I now actually really hear the drums in songs. Two, people who play drums are now cool. If they were already cool they are now cooler. I predict she will be a household name very soon.

Thank you for this reaction. The fact that you did take the time to figure out how to pronounce the name correctly is nothing less than paying respect for the person you are reacting on: great!!! I follow Sina for a few years now. Not because I do like hardrock (in fact: I don't...), but she is playing so many stiles of music and she collaborates with a lot of young oncomming artists, so you can always wait for a piece that you like: it will come. Sina did a cover of "Burn" from Deep Purple and even their drummer Ian Paice (he made a reaction video on it) was blown away by it.

Sina is professionally trained. Initially taught by her father. Once she had the basics, she went to school. Has won many awards, 3 self produced albums, movie soundtrack credits, and backed up signed bands. Normally she wears her trademark Converse "Chucks", rarely does barefoot work. Basically this generations Jeff Porcaro.

I’m not a drummer and I love watching Sina drum covers. German musician Sina Doering did that La Grange (ZZ Top) drum cover on July 2018 when she was 19-ish. I’ve seen some of her drum covers on youtube when she was 14-ish (with sneakers and bare feet ). Great enthusiasm and spirit. I wish her well.

Lol, and what makes you think that I haven’t been doing this for a very long time? And why do people like you feel the need to degrade others? What’s the purpose? Especially when I’ve said nothing but good things about the person that you’re “defending”?

thank you for checking out her ZZ-Top - La Grange :D its a really good song, and she have really good music taste, with all song choices she does, my problem with like concerts or when bands playing live, cameraman seems to forgot drums and bass in the band, its almost always shows singer and leadguitarist, fact is that are no band without drummer and bassist :D

Gebbis, one of the reasons why when I stumbled onto Sina's channel I was hooked. Yes all too too frequently the drummer is overlooked by the editing and videography team, but here, what a great way to appreciate quality work eh. Her Dad does a tremendous job highlighting Sina's talent.

i have no clue about drumming but came a cross sina a while ago and then A-yeon. both drummers just fascinate me. seeing this hand and leg or foot coordination is amazing and both sound perfect to me. But, because i am not an expert i very much appreciated your comments on both players. i see some strange comments on your evaluation below and cannot share it. i think you have a very pleasant style to comment on the performers. thank you so much for teaching me a little bit more about the drumming. Happy Holidays

Good afternoon Josh. A couple of Sina notes for you. You did nail the pronunciation of her name. See her whimsical post here to verify that. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qaalaHyPj5ahr5Y Here she talks and jams with her former selves. I chuckle when I listen. She has a really dry sense of humour, only one of the reasons why I'm such a great fan. She too mentions a bit about her change to the traditional grip when queried about it from her 2017 self. And as far as drumming barefoot, from everything I've gleaned from some of her answers and comments, she does it when it's really warm/hot in 'her little basement studio'. I have not heard one way or the other if either way is her preferred except for her air conditioned reasonings. When La Grange was posted it was on a Friday in July of 2018 and likely recorded on the Wednesday/Thursday thus giving her Dad enough time to prepare it for airing. Therefore being midsummer, the supposition that they were indeed warm days. So her faithful 'Converses' got chucked for the skin to breath! And one more note from me is one of my most played and favourite Sina pieces. Not wild, not overly busy, but because of the way she plays the hi-hat. She gets at least a dozen different sounds out of it. I have said to friends that it alone is a virtuoso performance. Here's the link. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqabiWRmoLuEfck Thank you for your positivity when featuring my favourite performer. Be well and be safe from the virus Josh.
