he's technically insane and nearly if not perfect with his chops. I would say that he doesn't vibe with the spirit of the song. Although again, his technical mastery is insane. If you're a drummer and/or listening to this song to geek out about his bass delivery or chops i think you'll be more than satisfied. but if you're like someone who wants a man to drum to music you can dance to or someone who plays like he feels drakes lyrics (not that anyone does this) you'd be like man I can't cause this drummer isn't about that. even though he is an insanely good drummer. broken cymbal has nothing to do with being pro. i play on broken cymbals all the time. cuz of a certain sound i want. hes most likely sponsored or just has good money so he can buy new cymbals everyday if he wanted. he just chooses to keep that. possibly cuz of the sound because it sounds pretty good
